In the "good old days", with a paying attendance, the two clubs shared the gate receipts.

Thanks for posting the ball numbers amberchoc - most helpful. I shall be tuning into the draw on TalkSport. The last two seasons has seen us exit to National South sides so I’m hoping we avoid one of those sides - several clubs who I’m not too familiar with Wimborne/Sholing/Cray Valley PM - one of these will do! We need a favourable winnable tie to bank some money!

Interesting split on the NL sides, 14 south to 9 north. Also a bye option so no question which side of the draw is favoured this year. You do wonder whether the NL should be split 50/50 even if it skews the regions a little . . .

There are four teams left in our section that are three leagues below us - Canvey Island, Cray Valley Paper Mills, Maldon & Tiptree and Sholing. Nine left that two leagues below us - Bishop’s Stortford, Cray Wanderers, Haringey Borough, Hartley Wintney, Hayes & Yeading, Leiston, Taunton Town, Weston-super-Mare and Wimborne Town.
Of course, if we draw any one of those clubs away from home, then fans will be allowed in, but I trust nobody will be considering masquerading as a home fan!

Aside from the painful draw (again!) for us, that coverage was awful. Aside from the presenter not being able to say the name of teams properly (Sullyhill, Flyde and Gillsey), it was like we never beat Coventry or got to the 5th round and Wokings win against 2nd tier West Brom in the early 90s was more important.
I now know why I never listen to that dogshit channel.

No chance whatsoever. They'll be looking for a story, and Us v Bromley (or for that matter Aldershot v Woking) won't give them it. Stockport v Chesterfield is much more tasty for them for a all NL game (with more people tuning in) and Ilkeston v Hartlepool for a bit more of a "glamour tie". Daggers v Hartley Wintney and possibly the derby between Wealdstone and Hayes also much more likely to feature.

We are waiting for guidance from the FA on the rules around streaming this cup tie.

A pity for Boston and Kettering there. We of course have recent previous with Hemel and Brackley - wasn’t it three consecutive seasons we drew Hemel in FA competition?! We had to play them nine times in those three seasons - for one of which we weren't even in the same division! One of those seasons we played them in three consecutive matches: league, FA Cup and FA Cup replay. Was a bit sick of the sight of them after that and I'm sure the feeling was mutual
