I've just noticed from the club website that "due to FA regulations the live stream will not be available to any viewers outside the UK" - is this purely for FA cup ties, or does this restriction also apply to our league matches? Geoblocking only applies to FA competitions (the FA own the media rights and have separate deals for non-UK). The National League also own the media rights to NL games but they have given permission for live streaming to clubs for this season only and haven't imposed geoblocking, so these games can be subscribed for and watched elsewhere.

Hm, these high winds are going to introduce a random element into the match today. Keep the ball on the deck, lads.

Three quarters of an attack?
Perhaps a wider spread of live viewers for this FA Cup tie than for the league matches, so I wonder if you notice this. Identifying the pitch in quarters: At the GGL end the Main gate quarter and the Shoebox quarter: at the other end the Collingwood quarter and the Scoreboard quarter.
Relative to the others Sutton attack least in the Collingwood quarter and most in the Scoreboard quarter. To my observation this has been the case under Dos and Matt, since the club ceased to have a speciaist left winger and overlapping left back. Sutton players on the ball in midfield are reluctant to pass down the sideways slope to the left wing, but when attacking the GGL end they do not have the some reluctance passing to the right wing down the sideways slope into the Shoebox quarter, or to the left wing in the Main gate quarter.
Sutton usually start attacking the Collingwood end. It does not take opponents long to spot this one-sided attack and their back four shifts to the left in anticipation of most passes going into the Scoreboard quarter.

This afternoons team..no Eastmond - could be a big miss for us what with his excellent start to the season. Really hope we can muster up a win.

Seb Brown on the bench today as sub keeper I see - thought we might see young Filip Chalupniczak on the bench who we signed at the start of the month.

Am i the only one getting buffering with the stream ? Haven't noticed any issues - try pressing pause on the player and then play again, it should automatically catch up to the "live" position.

Is it because the Collingwood quarter is the lowest part of the pitch and running the ball down into that slight depression is awkward? That is, I assume that quarter is the lowest part of the pitch. It looks that way to me. I think someone (or more than one person) had worked out the degree of dip, or slope, to the pitch overall. That was a few years back.

Sorry to say but the “tv” feed is almost unwatchable; sound all over the place, no one has thought that a shield over the lens would be a good idea and hence a rag across the lens every few minutes. Happy to give the club the money but it isn’t £10’s worth of quality

Worrying that we're creating so little. I don't recall a shot on target in anger against Notts County and barely anything in the first half today. We look like the away team I think.
