Seems like an eternity since our last game, but finally we've got one to look forward to.
Because of Macclesfield and Covid, only Bromley and Barnet have played as few league games as us, and we currently sit in 4th (although that could change tonight if Solihull beat Altrincham). Although skewed, we've scored less than any team in the top 7, but also we've let in the least this season than any other side. Even taking that into consideration, huge credit to our defence in particular for not letting in more than 1 goal in any game we've played this season.
Looking at PPG is even better viewing (and depending on how Covid goes could be important), we currently lie in 2nd, only behind Torquay at 2.4 PPG. The team in 3rd (Wealdstone) are on 2 PPG exactly so there is plenty to be positive about.
I know very little about our opponents (aside from their FA run this season) and I believe it's the first time we've played them (certainly in the last 40 years!). How are we looking injury wise (aside from Coby of course who we all wish a speedy recovery and are very pleased he's home)?

Have watched Kings Lynn on BT sport at the start of the season. Thought they were ok but never going to hit the heights. Biggest surprise for me is seeing Wealdstone up near the top. In their tv match against the Daggers they were dreadful !

In their tv match against the Daggers they were dreadful ! Their 5 wins have been against Wrexham (14th), Chesterfield (19th), Kings Lynn (18th), Altrincham (21st) and Halifax (20th) and their 1 draw has been against Yeovil (23rd). That probably explains why they are nearer the top.

Not too many of the recent scattering of league matches have actually gone the way that I would have called them (!) but I think we ought to be hoping for a win in this one?

None of the three clubs immediately above us in the table is playing tomorrow (for Covid-related reasons). A Sutton win of any sort would take us above two of them, Solihull and Stockport, and back into third place. We couldn't overhaul the third, Wealdstone, as they're now four points ahead of us. But after tomorrow we'd still have two games in hand over them.

How are we looking injury wise (aside from Coby of course who we all wish a speedy recovery and are very pleased he's home)? As per Matts interview with Ahmed, Ben Wyatt has sustained a metatarsal injury so joins Coby on the sidelines. I’m guessing Rob Milsom will slot into the left-back position.

Do we ever win the games we ought to win 🤔 I hope I’m quoted later with, yes we do 🙂 A little too often not, although I think many sets of fans in this league would say that about their teams. But I think we're getting better at it.

Has anyone tried climbing up one of the conker trees just outside the ground? That could be a decent vantage point.

One up at half-time (Olaofe) and with Torquay only drawing so far, it means, on points-per-game, we're top of the league at the moment!
