Cor Blimey ! Look at all those people, including one in my favourite seat. When you've emailed Bruce about this, do make sure you let us know what he says, won't you? Set us all straight. Promise?

Cor Blimey ! Look at all those people, including one in my favourite seat. Billy, if you (or anyone come to that) have an issue about the attendance. Who they are, what seat they were sitting in, what their role was on the day, who gave them permission to attend etc. I am sure the preferred route is to do so through the appropriate channels. Feel free to get in touch. Can I assure you, and anybody else, that a lot of work has gone into the protocols surrounding match day, and those protocols evolve, and are agreed and signed off on by the National League and other footballing and health authorities. In addition we are required to make a report on every game we host to the authorities, part of which is to assimilate constant learning which is dispersed to other Clubs. It may be of interest that in this instance Dagenham brought very few to the game, all of whom were integral to the match going ahead, and that meant no Club officials. Furthermore, specifically as a result of the protocols and procedures the Club has adopted, a number of individuals requested, and were refused access to the match. Please be assured the Club takes this matter extremely seriously and will not be doing anything to risk the health of anyone, or future participation in any competition, and I have no reason to believe that determination isn't reflected across any other Club, or the footballing authorities generally. Ongoing dialogue on such a serious matter via a forum such as this isn't helpful. Please don't expect any Club Official to constantly comment on this generally, or in any specific instance, through a medium such as this. The Club has always had an openness to communicate with its fans, well before this pandemic, and on any number of matters, football on the pitch, or otherwise. If anyone has specific concerns please be in touch through the appropriate, and open, channels of communication.

For many of us I'm sure we think you didn't even need to write this. It's a shame that there is a tiny minority who still feel the need to try and undermine all you and the clubs hard work for only personal satisfaction.

My bet? That's bought a week or two of silence on the subject. Not more than that, though.
Of course, I could be wonderfully, gloriously, spectacularly proved wrong.

Yes but of course Billy was only fishing ! Yeah, true. It's just that, to most of us, this is a football forum. Not an outlet for one of the milder forms of psychopathy.

He's a meddlesome dotard, with nothing better to do with his time than circulate baseless accusations over the internet without any evidential basis in support of his increasingly wild assertions. But that's enough about President Trump..

Trump has ‘Georgia on my mind’ whilst billy catches the ‘Midnight train’, that’s how they get around. There’s a great “golf” between them but with billy it’s just not cricket, it’s all to do with counting and in both cases the figures just don’t add up🤦♂️

Its a shame we can't have a mature conversation about this, between protectionism and trolling the actual argument goes no where.
To put it bluntly, our club as far as I know have done nothing wrong, and as stated hard work goes into maintaining safety for all that attend - No arguments from me.
However when certain (unnamed clubs)can send tens of officials, and individual directors can drive round trips of @300 miles to a game just to sit on their bum and watch the match - I think that goes beyond the limit of what is reasonable.
The National league are responsible for the rules, the clubs simply follow them, like I do on the shambolic testing situation I do question the league on turning a blind eye to what they know some clubs are doing. That does not in anyway imply our club is doing everything like that, and I know of directors ho have stayed away. But there are some big time Charlie's in our league who do think they are immune to spreading COVID.
Its not about the 3 bears and who is sitting in my chair or about counting basket items and making a fuss because you got 11 items instead of 10, its about those taking the P*ss.

If it's in the rules, and our club are following the rules (which I'd happily put money on that they are, to the letter), then it's reasonable. There isn't any other argument around it, whether they are "big time charlies" or anything else.
