Great first half. Two up at the break, but we should be out of sight really. Every time we attack, we look like scoring. There have been some strong individual performances all over the pitch. Keep it up boys!

2 goals conceded this season already from goalkeeper error.

Well, that was a weird game. Thankful for the draw in the end. Not sure what Dean was thinking being so far over to his left for Wealdstone’s third, but hey, there's nothing quite like scoring an important goal with the last kick of the game!

Similar scenes in our front room as Eastmond gets the equaliser👍🏻

We should have been out of site first half but squandered chances. Getting 2 back was always possible with Wealdstone kicking down hill. Didn’t manage to press them at all second half and Lafayette caused problems playing in front of the back 4. DA not in the game until last 10 minutes. Goalkeeping error looked to have cost us the game but thankfully Easty scores.

There is a history of games between Sutton and Wealdstone being goalfests with late drama, and this one certainly continued that tradition.
We could hardly have wished for a better start, 2-0 up inside the first fifteen minutes and Moses Emmanuel limping off for Stones. We should have had more goals before half-time, and it looked as if we'd pay the price for that profligacy after Ross Lafayette provided the platform for Wealdstone to lead 3-2 late on, only for Craig Eastmond to rescue a point in stoppage time.
Whatever the result in this match, one of the two sides was going to be 2nd at the final whistle. As it turned out, that's us. Not a bad place to be.

No a point away from home is always a good result and that slope at Grosvenor Vale doesn't make things easy.
Wealdstone's 3rd goal was a dreadful piece of goalkeeping !

As Matt said interview we should of been out of site first half. We also wasted so many free kicks and corners, but having said that it did show the commitment too keep going and get that goal with the last kick. Also it’s a tuff plays too go for any one, small tight ground, so yes a bit frustrating but still second and a long way too go. “UP THE US”

I don't think I've ever been as disappointed going into half time going 2 0 up. Not only was that first half so dominant, we missed chance after chance and some which should have been taken. I've noticed that we seem to generally be better in the first half this season, which isn't too surprising bearing in mind the energy and pace we play for the first 45. But if we do that we need to make sure we seal the defence to make sure a repeat of today doesn't happen. We nearly threw it all away and we won't get that fortunate week in week out.
Both today and Tuesday felt like defeats but that's also a measure of how well we've been doing. One thing that struck me is that if my memory is right today was the first time this season we've been losing in the league in normal time. If you count injury time we've been the losing side for around 9 minutes. That's out of around 770 minutes of league football. I know it matters if one of those minutes was the final minute of the match but that's still a pretty impressive record.
Let's see what Tuesday brings.
