Was Bugiel deserving of a red ? Thought he had his back to the player. Seen it back a few times, I think it was a red or at least cannot see any grounds for it to be overturned, the arm does come up and there isn't really any reason for it to do so?

Have any highlights been released from Tuesday's game at all?

There are some here. Lots of theatrics and screaming for bookings/decisions. Such is modern football.
Penalty didn’t really look like one. Sending off looked very soft. Certainly no penalty for them at the end - just backed in and threw himself on the ground.

Looks as if both the big decisions made by the ref in this game were highly questionable.

Decent highlights. Can't see how the pen was given unless he thought their guy caught Isaac's back leg. Dubious is the best word I could use.
Omar's is never a red. His arm is not high and the guy runs into it rather than Omar targetting him.
And if Dows reckons that's a pen at the end as he suggetsed in his i/v he needs to have another look.
Poor refereeing though. Cook should have gone for a second yellow on Omar and a couple of their other yellows looked soft.

I was not saying it wasn't harsh or that he should have gone, just that knowing how these appeals go, unless its a case of mistaken identity or the incident simply didn't happen you got little if any chance of getting it overturned. If my sources are correct there was an appeal but it failed. Funnily enough, premiership teams seem to be able to do much better on appeals, remember Gabriel of Arsemal kicking out at Chelsea player, it was heard at the same hearing a Bedse's for his red at Ebbfleet, Gabriel got off and Bedse didn't?

If it was Wrexham it would have been overturned. They get to appeal to the Welsh FA. Nearly every appeal of theirs is overturned.
