At half-time, after D&R had enjoyed most of the pressure, but been kept in the game by their keeper Elliot Justham, we could be forgiven for thinking it would be one of those days for United. But the second half strikes from Omar and Tanto gave Justham little chance. When Dean Bouzanis was beaten from a tight angle in the 86th minute, visions re-surfaced of that very late Altrincham equaliser last Saturday. Paul McCallum's long throws ensured some anxious moments, but then Will Randall settled nerves with a third goal on the break (as he'd done at Hartlepool at the start of last season). Game over. Into the last sixteen we go.

Strong, powerful performance. Defensively on top of our game, keeper howler apart. Thoroughly deserved win. Very impressed with Randall at the moment. Work rate great all over, emphasised I think by Bugiel who must work as hard as any front man ever! We should remain very hard to beat with this sort of side out. I’d also like to give Barden a shout out for developing into a class act at right back having joined the club as a midfielder. We’ve got a chance in this comp, hope we can get another home draw.

Great performance. We’re in a very good place this season and full congratulations must go to Matt, his staff and the team. Gutted for us as fans, missing out on all this. Let’s hope this horrible virus can all be over with ASAP and we could possibly return for the late stages of what could be a glorious season.🙏💛

Excellent performance again. We do find ways of gifting goals making for heart stopping moments at the end. Dagenham didn’t have a single shot on target such was our dominance. Bit different from last week against a very good Altrincham side.
Randall has been excellent and again caused no end of problems. But also his and Ajiboye’s defensive play are outstanding. The work rate in this team is phenomenal. Well done lads. Can’t wait for what is a really tough game against Eastleigh on Saturday

Excellent result. Well done lads. Great for the coffers too. That makes a total of £9,750 from the Trophy so far, making up for the lack of F.A. Cup prize money.
A couple of shocks in other Trophy matches today with Peterborough Sports from the Southern League winning 1-0 at Bath and Hornchurch knocking out King’s Lynn on penalties. Also, we don’t have to worry about Altrincham because they had to withdraw from their match at Havant due to a confirmed Covid case.
Edit: Just noticed that Weymouth lost to Darlington as well, so I make it that there’ll be at least 8 teams in the last 16 from outside the top division.

So shall we rename the last 5 minutes of matches as Bouzanis time ?

Really enjoyed that this afternoon - £9.50 very well spent! GGL very much becoming a fortress again and overall we look a tough side to beat - limiting Dagenham to not much at all today. Three excellent goals from us with a rifling finish from Bugiel (4th of the season), a superb counter-attacking goal finished off by Olaofe for his 7th of the campaign and a breakaway goal by the excellent Randall! Daggers' keeper made some very good saves in the first half otherwise the margin of victory could have been greater.
I liked the look of the side when it was announced before kick-off and was delighted to see Louis John come back in as I felt we missed his presence against Altrincham last week.
Into Round 5 and Peterborough Sports or Hornchurch would be nice in Monday lunchtimes draw!
