A very big game at GGL on Tuesday night when Torquay are the visitors. Needless to say a victory for Sutton would give us a huge advantage in the run in but this league won't be decided on the result whichever way it goes. We will still have 10 more Cup finals to play after this game. Great shame our fans can't be there but we will all be cheering them on from our arm chairs !
Hatlepool don't have a game.

This will be a meeting of two teams in good form, but there are differences. We're undefeated in 14 games but have drawn four of our last five (three of those away). Torquay have won five of their last six, but that run includes only two away games (a 1-0 win and a 1-0 defeat). Expect another close match.

I’m quietly confident and don’t mind saying it 😀
We’ll be a bit more rested after the break Saturday so I expect we’ll see a fast start and high energy performance.
Am sure the players are confident too. We’re a good side that are very hard to beat. Whilst it’s more important for Torquay to win than us, it’s a chance to (almost) put one of our challengers to bed in terms of the title. A win tomorrow makes it exceedingly difficult for Torquay to get past us.
Looking forward to it and hope we do the business. Of course there is pressure, the players will know that, but we have a lot of experience and will have to deal with it. It’s a positive situation we wouldn’t have dreamt about at the start of the season, enjoy the moment. Go out to win the game, no holding what we have. We have other bites of the cherry if it doesn’t go to plan.
P.S. If Dean could please not do anything heart attack inducing that would be appreciated for the good of my continuing health.

Completely right re pressure and other bites of the cherry. Win, draw or lose, we have the (relative) comfort of knowing that the fate of the season rests in Sutton's hands. The recent contract renewals for the management and the positive boardroom updates have been real boosts at the right time. What a great time to be a Sutton fan. Really looking forward to tomorrow night.

I'm not sure about anyone else but tonight has a little bit of the feels of Maidstone away 5 years ago - then we were chasing Ebbsfleet for the Conf South title with games in hand.
Like GarethL mentions we should be well rested - 8 days off now which included a low key friendly against Ebbsfleet on Friday. We should be absolutely chomping at the bit for tonight's battle - I'm confident of getting a good result.

I was saying to someone else last week it had an Ebbsfleet at home occasion feel to it funnily enough from the same season! That one may have been slightly closer to the line but effectively stamped our authority on that particular run in.
8 hours to go. Anyone else clock watching?! What a shame we’re not all packed in tonight. Torquay would have brought quite the following too.

Had to make sure I planned work, a barnet chop and getting beers and appropriate sustenance in. It's an 8pm ko here so I can be nicely settled in to whichever room I'm allowed to watch it!

I’d like to wish the boys good fortune this evening. Biggest game since the Boreham Rigid play-off semi 3 years ago. Very important that we don’t lose this one so I’d be happy enough with a draw. I also hope we get a decent ref who we don’t really notice.

Going to enjoy commentating tonight.
Forgive me in advance if you hear me (professional) in a different light this evening.
For me - WIN and we are like Shergar in the Derby 🐎 with a few lengths to go.
(I can just hear Peter Bromley calling him home).
