I have seen that the Premier League has said that away fans will not be allowed at the final two games of the season, but I can’t find anything definitive regarding the Football League or National League?
I suspect that it won’t be permitted, but does anyone have any information on this?

Expect home fans only for the rest of the normal season. Plays offs will be a different matter, especially the final

Such a shame (especially if the title goes down to the final day), but to be expected I guess. 😏

Expect home fans only for the rest of the normal season. Plays offs will be a different matter, especially the final To be clear, even allowing home fans hasn't been agreed to yet, and will require agreement with the various local licencing officers even if sanctioned by the government and football authorities. Under current guidance away fans will not be allowed at regular league games held this season after 17th May. Under current guidance away fans won't be allowed at play-off games either. The final, however, is expected to allow fans from both participating teams, who in effect will both be "away" spectators at the chosen venue.

How do you stop away fans turning up for a potential title winning game? Would the away club face sanctions if it were discovered? How would you not show your emotion if your team were successful?
A realist would say away fans should be allowed entry with segregation, social distancing etc We have had test music concerts and crowd attendance at Sheffield for the snooker. Why try and restrict something when it is impossible to control by either party.
I may live in Sutton but I have always been a Barnet Supporter.

Here's a question - is it within the realms of possibility that if the game is screened on BT Sports (or if Barnet would allow us to stream their coverage), we could show the game on the big scoreboard, or does it not have that facility? I would happily pay a fiver to come and watch at the ground. I assume as its not live football the rules about alcohol in the ground might not apply, or is that wishful thinking?
Or are there plans afoot to show it in the club bar? I'm sure many fans are considering doing the dirty and posing as a home fan, this would not only nix that but bring in some added income.

I was thinking along similar lines. It would be great if the club could put on some sort of event, not only so we can be together if we win the league that day(!) but also it might discourage certain people from travelling if there's an alternative option. But not sure what the rules would be when it comes to numbers. Probably not many people would be allowed to attend?

I will check with the licensing officer, but I'd guess same rules as for a football match. Capacity might be a lot lower though

To be honest even if Torquay beat Barnet (as I expect them to) as long as we beat Hartlepool we are as good as in the Football league, Yes it won’t be official but the job will be pretty much done - as the better goal difference would probably mean defeat in the last game by 3 or 4 goals would still see us promoted

It’s not a given that we will beat Hartlepool. Let’s not get carried away.

Capacity might be a lot lower though Of course the other problem is Barnet might not want their live streams broadcast to a mass audience, if that will lose them income. Presumably they could make that a condition of purchase.
