Is there anyone brave enough to predict our first eleven for the Forest Green game?

Is there anyone brave enough to predict our first eleven for the Forest Green game? Bouzanis; Barden, Goodliffe, John, Wyatt; Ajiboye, Eastmond, Milsom, Beautyman; Bugiel, Wilson. House, Kizzi, Rowe, Smith, Davis, Boldewijn, Korboa.

I saw Boldewijn play quite a few times when he was at Crawley. At that time they were a poor side, but I thought he looked to have the potential to play at a higher level than L2. I think he’s a decent signing for SU.

He seems like a very nice guy, if we can judge that by his tweets!

Think I’ll leave it to the boss. Suffice to say they’ll all be needed. The first choice players in our championship winning side will certainly get and deserve their chance at the higher level. I can’t at this stage put anyone coming into the club above them until they have earned the right (as good as the signings look on paper).
On squad numbers it seems a very strange rule as it seems quite tight given number of games. Some sort of budget restriction makes more sense to me!

I think you have to start with the team that got us up . The players we have signed look good on paper but for example i saw nothing in Boldewijn having watched him on tv that suggests that he is a step above what we already have. That's not to say he is not a good player as the players that won us the league are all good players.

I certainly don’t disagree that the players who got us up deserve a chance but we should recognise that this is a step up even without taking into account the fact we have only just gone fully professional. Add in the fact that arguably our best player of last year and our most significant goal scorer does not yet appear to be nailed down and I think we need to be wary of any thoughts around simply adapting to our new environment without the need to evolve a little.

I’d be astonished if the promotion team started against FGR. That would imply that none of the signings were thought to be better than what we’ve got, which wouldn’t say much for the quality of our recruitment. Perhaps we should ask the question again after all the PFS have been played.

Bouzanis House John Goodliffe Wyatt Milsom Barden Rowe Kizzi Beautyman Eastmond Davis Lovatt Smith Bugiel Wilson Ajiboye Randall Sho-Silva Korboa Boldewijn I make that 21 over 21 and Kouassi from the academy . Dundo I presume won’t register and stay as our fitness guru If we do get Issac back then a couple will go out on loan - my guess might be Lovatt and Sho-Silva

That would imply that none of the signings were thought to be better than what we’ve got, which wouldn’t say much for the quality of our recruitment. Perhaps we should ask the question again after all the PFS have been played. Exactly this. We've got 6 PSFs to play, we've got to take into consideration what our opponents strengths and weaknesses are, how the new signings fit into a system and we've got to consider form/fitness/injuries. Taking all that into consideration, not even Bouzanis is 100% certain to start our first game.
