Sounds a great idea! Thanks to John Parsons for arranging all the transport requirements. It’s quite tempting to go to Barrow on the coach and be able to take in the lovely scenery and let someone else do the driving. 😎😊

Leaving at 1145 slightly worries me General Saturday lunchtime traffic, M25 traffic, Dartfort tunnel traffic etc etc Maybe 1115 departure could be considered???

Hopefully we will get a stop on route🤞 Time to ask someone who lives in Essex how long it takes to get to Colchester, oh hang on, that's me ! On a "good day" when I leave Gander Green Lane after a match, it takes me about 1 hour 15 mins to get to Chelmsford, so I'm afraid that Stewart's timings are a bit off........We will be going on Saturday and it'll take us almost 30 mins to get to Colchester from our house, so, I agree that an 11.15 departure would be a much better idea, especially as getting through the tunnels at 12ish is 'hit and miss' sometimes there are 10 minute queues, sometimes it can take 30 minutes.

Following the last two thread's regarding timing for the Colchester match l can personally tell you that always get guidance from the coach company regarding timing. In all the time have been Travel Secretary supporters who travel on the Coach will admit that we always get to the matches in good time. Only remember one occasion. Bearing in mind your comments this is now altered to coach at the ground 11.15am for 11.30am departure

COLCHESTER AWAY TRAVEL.
This is a brief reminder for the Members/Supporters who are booked on the coach this Saturday please make sure that you have booked online tickets from Colchester to travel even though believe you can still purchase up to kick off time with the right phone. At the end would not like Members/Supporters to travel and not able to see the match. Have contacted them by email or text as well.
