Good win and a great night until i tried to get back on the M25 and found the slip road closed !!! I had a prior arrangement to drive with a pal to Stowmarket v Tilbury, so actually drove past Colchester’s ground on the way. I was probably half an hour behind you into the M25 diversion.

I've left it a bit late to celebrate but Crawley was my 100th and Colchester my 101st different away ground watching Sutton Utd. It's been 37 years since I first wandered along to GGL to see what all the fuss was about and I saw with my own eyes as Sutton scored 7 including a Mickey Joyce hattrick. The bug bit and after a season of home games only, it was travel away to the near ones, and then soon after don't ever miss a game. My progress to 101 grounds was curtailed with a fifteen year break living abroad - (A Sutton United Scandinavian tour never materialised.) - so it's taken longer than it might have done. But it hasn't been about counting grounds, the number just crept up on me unannounced. The journey has been about being involved with an amazing club, winning or losing with the team (though I still don't like losing), and sharing the passion with a pretty amazing bunch of spectators. I don't think I'll manage to reach 200 but I'd like to think I could get to 150. Thanks for having me.

I don't think I can count Hayes & Yeading as a new ground, so I have to hope for one new ground to visit in the Papa John's or FA Cup so I can finish the season on exactly 200 grounds (although I think I may have forgotten a few on the way).
