Oxford United remind me of our last National South at Oxford, and thinking the signs for 'Football Ground' meant 'City' and not 'United' until I realized, and wondered if we would ever get to follow them signs to the big team in Oxford?
If that is the case it will be a real tough one, not saying Bristol Rovers away will be a cake walk either.

We would love to make the trip to a match at Gander Green Lane, but fate sends us to Bristol or Oxford to follow your progress! Being from Cardiff, are we the only ones happy with that draw for you guys? Our video of your exploits against Hayes should be up by the weekend! ๐ YouTube.com/channel/UCgqoRSJJyXnU2VZHWpJiF0w From a selfish point of view great draw for me, both less than an hour away. All tough games at this stage, I certainly prefer to build up to these things as the underdog, though in the cold light of day being favourite is better in terms of progression prospects.

If Bristol Rovers win the replay, we'll be playing them twice in a month. And it's not beyond the realms of possibility that we could potentially draw them in the Papa Johns (they're 2nd in their group as it stands). If that occurs and we also draw in the Cup at theirs we could be playing them 4 times in a 4 week period.

We are not a TV game.

Salford get a TV game again, I expect the only reason being is that the TV companies think Chesterfield will beat them. BW is a little surprising however. When has an all non league tie in the 2nd round ever been a live TV game before?
All of the others are pretty much no brainers though.

Guess a TV exec may have looked at it as a 'big' local derby without the knowledge of what Boreham Wood have to offer. Glad for St Albans though, at least some reward after a decent round 1 performance following the deflation of drawing Wood!

I'm guessing that the draw for the third round will be on the evening of Monday 6th December after the Boreham Wood v St Albans tie. As this tie guarantees a non-league club in the third round, they will have the cameras at Boreham Wood to show the reaction of the winners to whom they draw in the third round - ITV obviously hoping that it will be a Premier League side.

Just one thing to keep an eye on. Obviously we are through, and Oldham are still in the draw (replaying with Ipswich).
If we win our 2nd round match or Oldham get through and beat Barrow at home, then our match with them on 8th January will be postponed.

There is no longer the BBC Final Score Sunday show as BBC has Women's Football and Rugby to show instead So the Only reason to move another game to Sunday would be either the Local Police OR maybe one game for Overseas TV
