During summer l signed up to get the Covid pass and when I logged in the Q code appeared.
Now, it appears, I have to go through the registration process including sending I'd etc to get the pass.
Is that right please?
Cheers in anticipation of some decent guidance.

Think I have cracked it. That's assuming the domestic pass covers Wales.

Assuming that you have a smart phone Mark, download the NHS app, complete the simple registration process and your COVID innoculation record will appear.

Thanks but does that include providing passport or driving licence images or does the QR code raised by going just to the domestic Covid past option suffice for Wales?
Currently, with no I'd provided, I can't see my vaccine record.
Cheers

Currently, with no I'd provided, I can't see my vaccine record. Cheers Hi Mark, Asking for ID on that app is fine. I had to go through the process myself, added the driving licence and I think had to take a picture of myself too. It's a bit of a faff but it gets approved pretty quickly. They only use that info to verify your identity (as I'm sure none of us want our medical records being used by someone else) and your DL or photo doesn't appear within the app. The NHS app (either option for domestic passport or the one for travel which has more detail on it) will work fine in Wales. I've used it abroad too with no issue. hope that's useful. Oh yes, and you'll need the NHS app rather than the Covid pass app (which is track and trace so uses a different system)

Thanks.
I have the nhs app and that's where the QR code comes up on the domestic option.
If QR code suffices in Wales then I assume I don't need to go down the identification process?

Thanks. I have the nhs app and that's where the QR code comes up on the domestic option. If QR code suffices in Wales then I assume I don't need to go down the identification process? It should be, but all the advice I've seen is that you'll need to upload photo ID (e.g. gov.wales/get-your-nhs-covid-pass) so I'd err on the side of caution. If you don't feel comfortable in doing that (which would be understandable), you can request a paper one without the need for ID by giving them a call. (number is in the link)

Am glad you can sort it as I can't. I click on Get your Covid Pass, domestic and then it says there are 4 ways to get a pass, Testing, Vaccination, Natural immunity and Exemptions. But that's it, no further buttons to press!

I had to get one to attend England V Tonga at Twickenham. Unless it's changed very recently I believe the QR code will only work for 48 hours unless I.D. is submitted.

Mine seems to give me valid QR code until Xmas Day 🤷♂️ Mine too. If there's a record of you being double/treble vaccinated, the expiry date for the Covid pass is 30 days from the current date. As far as I can see, that expiry date rolls forward each day unless there's reason to think you've been infected. I've downloaded my pass to my phone, so there's no need to go into the NHS app on the day of the Newport game.

I put in my NHS number (which should show double vaccinated) but expiry is still 48 hours.
Who’d have thought we would be able to use the Severn bridge free to get onto Wales but now need a passport!
