Anyone fancy a game on Sunday ? 2.00 at the nice Wandgas ground in Worcester Park. I've had 3 players drop out in the last twenty minutes and need to replace them in the next hour (by 12.45) or cancel the game. Ability with the bat or ball is not essential (bit like England really) but it helps if you can walk. Drinking is good too.

Problem is we can't play away as Sun 3rd XI skipper is managing under 15's in morning! What strength are Wandgas?

Might be available for a couple of sundays over the summer HonSec. Let me know if you need anyone.
It'll be a laugh if nothing else! ;D

East Cheam play cricket these days for the fun, and the beer, just friendlies and only Sundays. 7 games arranged, we went for the nice away fixtures mainly with a village feel and pretty grounds. We will arrange other games if people commit to play. Anyone is welcome to play, especially SU people as that's how we began back in 1979 - Mark Kidd, Bob Budd, Vaggy, Starnsy, Soper; even Frakey has played now and then and also Julian R. E-mail me and I'll send back our fixture list. DF Our game Sunday is ON but I still need 2 more players.

What do you mean even Frakey? I almost took a hat trick once but missed a low caught & bowled & you accused me of jug evasion! Not so, that bloody red thing you hit is too hard for my delicate hands. I almost cradled it in my beer gut though!!
One of my victims was one time reserves player Ray Woods. Stumped I believe after being deceived by my Warne like spin!!!!
Ask Millsy about my back garden bowling too.

Ask Millsy about my back garden bowling too. I really think we would rather not know. Goodness knows the depths of depravity that are plumbed on the wrong side of the Borough.

To conclude the saga, we did get up to eleven players but were rather taken apart by a free-hitting young batsman. The home team made 271, we were 156-8 in reply. Still, it didn't rain.

Know them of old, although it's a good few years since we played them.

Ask Millsy about my back garden bowling too. One of the many tennis balls 'hit out of the ground' was returned by my neighbours today. They normally come back over the following months but this is a year on, must be some kind of record.
