Do we know if the game will definitely be on on Saturday. Will there be enough police available to allow the game to be staged ? If it goes ahead the number of Hartlepool fans will be very small as there is absolutely no rail travel available because of the crowds attending the lying in state. The club should have posted a confirmation as soon as the go ahead for Tuesdays games was given by the EFL
Attendances have been relatively poor at GGL thus far - a) because of the weather b) holiday season c) the geography of opponents d) rail strikes. We are nowhere near last seasons 3k average

It wasn't down to the EFL to say whether the game had the go ahead. It isn't as simple as that. The Club has undertaken all the necessary assessments, alongside partners such as the Police, Local Authority, and the Sports Ground Safety Authority, which takes some time. Let's hope you, and at least 2,999 others enjoy the game.

It also looks like Thameslink is running. I think someone said it wasn't.

Is this thread the match thread for tomorrows game? Important we get back on track after more away woes at Swindon on Tuesday - I’d like to think we can add to our very solid home form against a winless Hartlepool who we should have too much for, Pools have conceded the most goals in the league currently. Did we pick any injuries at Swindon?

Regarding any injuries sustained. When Rob went off and was subbed. On the way around the pitch he pointed to his knee. Again with Omar he was walking with a limp . Hopefully they are OK for tomorrow. As Stewart said maybe Matt will give an update later

I thought would share this post that I found on the League Two ForumSutton really got on our fanbase's nerves in the NL what with that plastic pitch meaning every time we played them we had to rest a couple who were not allowed to play on them. Not only that but they played a very physical style on that surface, copious amounts of dark arts they are the quintessential team all ex league clubs loved to hate. Of course we never beat them either, apart from once at The Vic I think and even then it was a mammoth effort. Got a lot of respect for them in some ways, they've done it off the pitch in the right way, built the club up steadily without being bankrolled. Settled squad with a bit of quality in the right areas, good manager who knows how to get the best out of them, they've done everything we haven't to be honest. Can't see anything other than a defeat, apart from Menayese, Niang and Umerah we aren't a physical side at all, we aren't fit and we can't play good enough football on the floor to beat them. We've had a very tough set of away fixtures so far and this is yet another one that we'll get nowt from. Link to post: LINKLink to forum: LINK

Rob looked an issue, would be surprised to see him. Leaves us a bit lopsided at left back as unlikely Hart fit either. Barden I suspect will slot in there but we lose a touch of balance.
Never like being favourites going into the game. But in the cold light of day it’s obviously better than not! Hopefully we can put in another home performance and take our chances.

Possibly Louis to left back where he has played before with Craig or Joe Kizzi playing centre back and Jon Barden playing either.
Not ideal but needs must.

Can’t see us making 2 or 3 changes to the back 4 for 1 injury. If Milsom doesn’t make it (preview suggests he will) Barden would surely slot in at left back. A little less balanced but I’m sure he’ll do a good job as ever.
