With an 'international break' next weekend, we will be offering half-price entry to our game v Salford for season ticket holders of Premier League and EFL (ie the "other 90") clubs to next Saturday’s game.
These season tickets should be brought to the ticket booth next to the club shop on matchday - 12 noon to 2.45 - in order to gain admission to the match for £10 adults/ £6 concessions/ £3 juniors

Interesting. Planning on being there from Newcastle on Saturday so will come in very handy for the 2 of us. Does this offer apply to seat tickets too Dave? I can't seem to find any mention on the club site but may be missing the info somehow.

We did intend spending pre match around Sutton high St but think we may go straight to the ground to buy our cheaper tickets. I've read about a social club on site. Will it be easily accessible or does it reach capacity well before KO? Any other options at the ground for a pre match pint?

The Gander is a nearby pub if Boom Boom is full.

Sorry, why suggest someone goes to a pub instead of using the club, especially after we have invested in two fans’ zones ?

The fan zone is excellent and outdoor, and therefore it's very unlikely to fill capacity. It's by far the best option for a pre match drink and you'll be made very welcome.

Personally wouldn't recommend the Gander, not that anything is wrong with it as such but I reckon you'll get a better pint and atmosphere at the club! You will be very welcome there

Dear scoreboard why not book to enjoy our prematch lunch . You can do this from our ticket shop site. Enjoy a reasonable meal , our bars and company which includes a pre match introduction from our first team manager.

Thanks to all for the helpful info and personal preferences on here, and of course the offer of a warm welcome. Ground No 88 in my quest to visit the 92 and looking forward to it more with each passing day. As for where we end up, i suppose weather's a factor. We may not reach GGL until 1pm..ish so maybe a little late for the pre match meal, although it does look like good value. I guess we'll arrive, buy tickets then suss out the feel of the place. Maybe try a bit of the Gander and then the fan zone? One travel related question. I'm guessing we can tap in and out with contactless cards but still use Thameslink from St Pancras?

Yup, West Sutton has no gates, but you can tap in and out without issue. There's also food available in the Fanzone. The Gander itself is is about a 7/8min walk beyond the confines of the ground, so you'll need to go past the club to get there. Still think you're better off staying in the fanzone

To be fair to the person who suggested a pub, the FAQ's on the 'tickets' section of our website has not been updated with the FANZONE info:
Are away Fans allowed in the bars?
No we have complete segregation on match days. Soft drinks and hot drinks and food are available in the Away Fans section. There are a number of pubs and restaurants within walking distance.
