Wow, I never would have thought of that. I suppose it is something other clubs do, but well done to those who put this together.

Hi, The EFL arranges a number of events, usually Zoom meetings these days, to raise awareness and share best practice around all aspects of Fairness, Inclusion and Respect. One of the events a few months ago looked at the difficulties some spectators can face if they suffer from memory loss or can become confused when faced with a noisy or unpredictable situation, such as a football crowd.
Some clubs have dedicated resources and put a lot of time and money into the help they provide, which is not necessarily restricted to match days, and I would commend anyone to look at Wrexham in this regard (although they are not currently EFL of course).
The initiative we have introduced is a blatant steal from Wolverhampton Wanderers, who presented a compelling case study during the Zoom meeting. We are already aware of instances where the pack might have been helpful but would ask any supporter who knows someone who might benefit to consider letting us know. It may be someone who attends but, perhaps, can't find their seat or maybe a long-term fan who has stopped coming along because it is all a bit overwhelming. We would, however recommend that the spectator is involved in the discussion as these issues can be quite complex. Our only aim is to help.
