It was announced at Saturday's Club Dinner that G4S Cash Services, who are based in Sutton, will continue their sponsorship of the Club for the 2007/8 season. Although this does not obviate the Club's search for a new major sponsor, it is very welcome news and goes once again to show that Securicor, in all of their guises, remain the best sponsors in non-league football.

Great news Dave. When does the draw for the secondary shirt sponsor take place? Do you know whose in the running?

HonSec, does this mean G4S are remaining as the main club sponsor? Also, is the deal a better one financially than the last one? Simple yes or no answers are fine. Don't expect full details!  |

I'm guessing 'no' in terms of better deal. But thankfully a continued presence. Believe we are still looking for a major sponsor, so G4S would be a "sponsor"... unless we can't secure a major sponsor, in which case G4S would take on that mantle.

We have been following up several leads on a new major sponsor for quite a while but, as yet, have not managed to get anyone to commit.
