This seems to have fallen under the radar, bit our Foundation needs to raise funds to get the long-awaited new pavilion built and kitted out - you may have heard Bobby Childs mention it in his podcast interview recently. Anyway, to receivethe funds the appeal has to hit the £10k target AND reach 100 sponsors. So, from a purely numbers perspective every little really does help. Time is running out. www.crowdfunder.co.uk/p/sutton-united-community-pavilion-kit-out-1

Is there any chance of getting the 1 April deadline for this extended?
I suspect that a number of our fans would like to help but don't have a lot of spare cash at the moment. With season ticket renewal coming up, this may not be the best time to be fundraising for the pavilion.

No idea, I can mention it to Bobby. I think it was launched over two months ago though.

Who actually benefits from this? It’s for the foundation charity which Sutton Utd support, so the children can play football in the park.

There's literally a link telling you exactly this in the original post.

* BUMP * We urgently need to get another 56 pledges (no matter how big or small) by Wednesday night please Me confused. I read that it was originally 10k donations and 100 sponsors by 1st April (i.e. Saturday). Now we’re saying just 56 more sponsors, with no 10k target, by tomorrow night.

No, not quite what I am trying to say. At this stage, the challenge is to get to the hundred pledges (we already have 44, so 56 more needed) - at this stage that's actually harder than hitting the 10k target (yes, we do have to do both). If we can get to 100 pledges by tomorrow night then that gives the club a day or so to also ensure that the total is reached and there are avenues we can follow to try to achieve that.

The appeal has been cracking along today, so we're back on course now.
