Retained players' list has to in by Friday I heard. Somebody correct me if they know better! If it's business as usual in the EFL, it's usually by the 3rd Saturday in May (which this year is 20th May), and retained lists are published by the EFL by the 2nd Saturday in June (10th June). Those involved in play offs have an extension, which is 4 days after their final match, which for the clubs from L2 that make the play off final will be 4 days after 28th May (Thurs 1st June). Incidentally Tranmere have released their retained list today.

A few cheap digs going on in this thread, aimed at posters who are either not sure of protocol or just want to encourage a conversation. No need for them. All they do is put people off from joining in.
I expect someone to now point out that a conversation is aural and not something that posting words can be described as…

At least the digs are fairly edudite. On some forums people just call each other w**nkers.
(Silver lining?)

My understanding is that retained and released player lists must be made public by the third Saturday in May, ie 20th.

Matt mentioned the wind in his interview. Does anyone else think that we have seen more games experiencing high winds this season than ever before ? Perhaps I just don't remember them before, but this season does seem to have had more than its fair share. There’s an awful lot of wind in the EFL (and Premier) but it invariably blows itself out 🌬🤭
