With an important FA Cup match almost upon us its difficult to understand why the main topic of conversation on here is the running track. I believe we shall get through without too much of a problem but does anyone else have a view?

Well, they've not won away yet this season in 3 attempts. And we've looked better at home than away. So I think we'll edge it. But it'll be close.

You'd like to think that having taken 4 points from two games against teams who are no mugs and strong on paper that we'd be reasonably high on confidence. Mind you it is the FA Cup and we all know what we've been like in it recently!

Losing is unthinkable!! Cray appear a good side but as the board appear to have put some money where their mouths are and invested in the team, winning this one is a must! (even though it'll be in that shabby white kit!)

Well one would guess they are not stupid and won't try and attack us choosing instead to play compact at the back and chase the long ball. The question is have we learnt from previous matches this season, if we have we will win and not we will lose. Movement, width and no switching off at the back is the key!

Well one would guess they are not stupid and won't try and attack us choosing instead to play compact at the back and chase the long ball Very, very wrong. We played good football in the first half, and dominated the game, i am shocked that you did not have anyone come and watch us play, if you did, you would have been prepared for Tyrone Sterling on the left wing who tore you apart. Saying this though, you were good in the second half, and restricted us to very few opportunities. I'm sure that you will face many better teams than us this season, but even more who are worse, you looked like you could handle the long ball all day, and that is what most teams resort to, including your self i'm sorry to say. Good luck in the Cup, hope to meet you next year in the Premier .

Cray worked hard but did not really have enough in the locker to really trouble us at the back especially in the second half when the left sided threat was snuffed out. I don't criticise the long ball because sometimes its the right ball and with Dundo we have a player who can hold it up well. For our part we did enough although not exactly firing on all cylinders but we were without Palmer, Chukki and El-Salahi today so 3k is 3k and the next round

Cray played some good stuff in the first half with Sterling highly prominent in all their best moves including a well worked goal. Having said that, Gav's finish for the first was excellent but he missed a sitter late on after good work by Del Smith. Save for it when we need it Gav!
It wasn't a classic but once U's got a two goal cushion it was comfortable. Wilde's free-kick & corner delivery was excellent for the 2nd & 3rd goals and great to see Dundo finally on the score sheet.
A good win against competent opponents from a lower division.

A hard fought win against Cray.Their left winger was indeed prominent but helped by a not very convincing performance by our right back Jack Smith who has been caught out several times in recent matches.Young and inexperienced lets hope he learns quickly.
