I would not wish to guess but expect the club will want to honour their promises to give some sort of priority period to season ticket holders and 1898 members to buy their regular ticket so some planning might be necessary. Let's hope we treble the first round attendance to match Horsham.

Not really sure they will. I doubt it will be sell out, or even close to it, to be honest.

Without wishing to be disrespectful, Barnsley are not exactly the most attractive opposition on the planet. Attractive to Horsham as a non-league club, yes, but now that we’re EFL, less so for us. I think we’ll get a little over 2,000 in the ground for this one.

I’m hoping for a fair few more. Would expect a good turn out from them for a start - new ground for most I’m sure.

I expect Barnsley will bring a few but will our home supporters turn out in numbers as its all pay. Very unlikely to sell out.

On Tuesday night Salford attracted a grand total of 1030 for their reply against Peterborough. Forest Green and Accrington both had attendances of just over 1100.
FA Cup games traditionally have lower gates unless you're playing one of the big guns as Del said it's all pay. It would be great if we can get over 3000.

Worth noting that if we beat Barnsley or Notts County beat Shrewsbury, then our trip to Meadow Lane on 6th January will be postponed.

Ticket info on the Club website. I'll hopefully get mine before Saturday's game.

Interesting piece in today's Daily Mail.
Apparently Barnsley were the first team to have a mascot, in 1909 a certain Amos and the Donkey. Amos was less than 5' tall and wearing full Barnsley kit, riding boots and a wide-brimmed hat garlanded with flowers would ride the donkey to games.
Following his unfortunate death being run over by a Yorkshire traction bus he was subsequently replaced by a dog called Toby Tyke.

For Barnsley tickets ordered on line are emailed. It is my experience from working in the shop if tickets not received same day as payment might infer a delivery hiccup suggest individual then contacts the ticket managers either via the email tickets@suttonunited.net or phoning the club during the usual office hours of 10am to 12. ground admission tickets are available in the shop and have started to sell

What a break! Which would actually be better? To be fair, if Horsham play like they did second half against Barnsley, they'll turn us over. Gate receipts will be handy but so would a free pass into the mix with the big boys.

Horsham should easily sell over 1000 tickets even though they will have only 7 days to do so
