We can compete, so I would not rule out a result, but would have rather played them a few games ago. Depends how much we have mentally after all our bad luck..

On Tuesday against Wrexham I felt really positive and thought , incorrectly , that we would win . I do not feel the same about tomorrow and am expecting a defeat …. Which means we might win !

Taylor back from loan and on bench and Jay William's on bench, No John, Hmmmm.
Currently Steve appears to rate Kizzi more as a centre back than Omar S. Perhaps he has more pace to track back.

Opportunity to complete out first double of the season. What are the chances? 😉 Maybe a more pertinent question is what are the chances of us winning again this season? I must admit I was one of those who thought Matt should have gone after the Salford game, but would his record really be as bad or worse since his sacking than his successor's?

Well can you believe it …… we fail to keep a clean sheet AND fail to score . We are sinking faster than a russian warship in the Black Sea .
Just waiting for the “ all still to play for “ brigade to put a positive spin on things now .

Do we need snookers yet!
I stand to be corrected but I think the last time one of our “strikers” scored in a league game was at Grimsby in November! That was Harry Smith pre second sending off! Only Tope since.
Still 39 points to play for!!!!

Yes. 39 points still up for grabs. Just need a bit of luck, that’ll lead us to that elusive win.

Same old same old ones again, just not good enough, and at the end, commentary said players having a go at each other does not.help. Yes we had chances but not the quality to put it away and then get done on the break ones again. Also there keeper only had one shot to save which sums up our season, very frustrating. Thought Bouzanis had a good game and kept us in it.⚽️

Is Duke-McKenna carrying something? He seems our biggest talent by far and I can’t comprehend him not starting. I’d rather have him playing off Smith than wasting a spot with Angol.

Extraordinarily FGR and us don’t appear to be the ones in the biggest crisis (playing wise), the award goes to Grimsby. They continue to dangle a carrot.

I assume that Steve either doesn't want to over-use Duke-McKenna and risk burn-out, or he prefers to deploy him as an impact player. Although the QPR loanee's looked lively for us, he's yet to score or provide an assist.
Today's was another battling performance with no reward. We had more of the ball than Bradford, who threatened mainly on the break rather than through sustained pressure. And that was how they scored, nine minutes in to the second half. Harry Smith had earlier brought two saves out of the home keeper; we really needed one of those to go in. Deano then kept us in the game with a couple of fine saves. We gave it a real go in the last ten, but the breakthrough just wouldn't come.
We've not been obviously outclassed in any game since Steve's arrival, and haven't lost by more than the odd goal. But winning football matches is about scoring more goals than the opposition, and we've just not rediscovered the knack of doing that.
