GET IN ! Well done lads and SM . If we could play County every week we could get promoted this season !
Also had a first in my life , cheering a goal for the BBC’s favourite team Wrexham when they got a stoppage time penalty and equaliser at Forest Green .
The fat lady may be on the stage with a microphone in her hand but she is still waiting for the band to get started 😃😃.

Not getting too excited, as there was still plenty bad defending to worry about. That said, Notts County are good going forward. And we gained 2 points on all our rivals so a good away day.
Second half we played well, good to see Smith put that penalty miss behind him with a decent performance, Lakin should be a Sutton player, he is definitely Amber. Good to see Olly get off the mark, though a worry about Arnold's fitness.
Rubbish reff who seemed to love booking our players. Smith virtually assaulted by two of their players and didn't even get a foul, then Lakin goes on to win the ball with a good challenge and gets a yellow card. As for Goodliffs booking I will never know. Thankfully neither turned into a red.
I hope the players enjoyed that and get some good rest before Saturday.
Pleased for Steve as he has deserved a win for a while.

This may prove to be a transient joy, but a richly deserved one after the effort that the players have put in, in recent matches. Well done, all.

What a great effort by the lads tonight, 3 times in the lead and going again and again to get the 4th. I think you could see our weakness down the left in that 1st half, but to get 4 goals away from home (maybe for the first time in our EFL history?) is no mean feat for any team let alone one which is propping up the table. I think Steve deserves a lot of credit for those changes in the 2nd half, they turned a difficult situation into almost a cake wake in that final 10-15mins, and we controlled the game looking the more likely to score a 5th. One match does not make a Spring, but follow that up at Prenton and maybe, just maybe ?? Can I also say, well done to all those who travelled tonight, you did the team proud, and deserve a happy journey home for once

In 35 matches we have scored 40 goals. In two matches against Notts County we have scored 9 goals.
So 33 matches we have scored 31 goals.
Basically a quarter of the goals have been scored against Notts County.

In Steves post match interview I thought it was interesting when he revealed that they have a psychological approach to taking penalties by making sure the penalty taker holds the ball as little as possible as they believe it gives them a better mind set. So those who thought Smith snatched the ball to take it against Colchester were mistaken, as were those who thought there was an argument today.

I dunno, you wait most of the season for a penalty to win a game than two come along in consecutive matches. This evening Charlie Lakin managed what Harry Smith didn't last Saturday afternoon and secured our first win since Steve Morison's arrival. 🙂
That decisive spot kick was the climax to a topsy-turvy contest in which we had to take the lead four times in order to secure victory. Both defences were opened up too easily, Notts having more of the first-half shots and Steve Arnold again keeping us in the game with some fine saves.
Ryan Jackson's opener followed some terrific interplay between Nino and Duke-McKenna down our left, then the strikers stepped up to the plate, Harry bagging his first since 25 November then Olly Sanderson poaching his first for the club. The team went up a gear in the closing 15 minutes, and we could sense the determination not to concede a fourth equaliser.
The two games this season between these sides have yielded a remarkable total of 13 goals. Whatever happens between now and the the end of April, tonight's match will live long in the memories of those of us who were there. We just need now to win our next two, and a lifeline may have been grasped.
