Wow, three wins on the bounce ……. Happy days , well done lads you are really doing us proud .
It’s my birthday soon and I think I’ll put a defibrillator on my birthday wish list if this carries on because watching the scoreline for those last few minutes was not good for me !

Watching the game today was pleasing to see that we did not give up when they brought it back to 1-1 and this is the mental side of the game which we have been lacking all season. Performance today was not the best but our determination to stay positive and go forward and score has now seems to be baring fruit. 3 goals last Saturday 2 today and let's hope we carry on the belief that we can overcome this blip of a season and no matter were we finish the positive mind set that the players all seem to have bought into brings us more joy in the future.
Good to see Sanderson score 2 in a fledgling career to come to a club that was foot of the table he could be key like Wilson was in our title winning year.
Keep positive stay strong and the football becomes easy. Well done Sutton over the last 3 matches.

Not since the mid-90's.......or has it come round again? Fantastic result, for some reason I'm not too bother re Colchester nicking a win as I do think it is easier chasing than being chased (having done neither myself I may be talking out of my backside.....again) Yeah, it was 'current' a year or so back for sure. Probably out again, now. Well I missed that revival. Shame my eldest would have loved me saying it!

As others have said its a match we would have lost a month or so ago, 3 down 5 more to get.
On to Monday and lets get 4 wins on the bounce and keep the dream alive.
The one thing about Sutton United is we don't do normal, we have to be awkward, and who is to say the toughest quest for any team to ever to survive regegation won't be added to the clubs CV?

3 wins out of 3 - the last time we did that in league games was in February 2023 (Swindon/Doncaster/Newport). We've never won 4 league games on the spin as a ELF club. It would be a wonderful time to do that on Monday.
I feel this team has really turned a corner, and I think our fate will depend on whether that corner was turned in time. If we did what we needed to do and beat Colchester and Grimsby at home, we'd be on 40 points, whilst Grimsby would be on and Colchester on 35. But all we can do now is do whatever we can to control our own fate.
Chuffed to bit for Olly getting his 2 goals, and although slightly disappointing that we conceded, if you look at their goal, it was actually pretty special. But doesn't matter. We got the 3 points. Points are all that matters now.
It's obvious that pretty much all the loan players have really brought something to us - Lakin has been brilliant from day 1, but you can see Olly and Nino improving every game. One especially pleasing thing is how some of our other players have stepped up a level with new management. Sam Hart being one, but I want to put a special shout out for Josh Coley, who really under Matt (and Jason) was really quite a disappointment, but is looking more and more like a very important player for us in this run in. Same goes for Joe Kizzi, who I though was possibly our weakest player under Matt, but again seems to really have got back to that level of his best for us.
It's still a really tough ask, but looking a little more positive after the last few games. For a short time on Friday we were out of a relegation slot. Win on Monday and Colchester lose at Tranmere, we could be out of it for a few days at very least.

We have achieved four EFL wins in a row once before - in September and October 2021 at home to Carlisle (4-0), away to Northampton (2-0), home to Port Vale (4-3) and away to Crawley (1-0).
