Rokerite, we basically copied that design for our centenary kit in 1998 and it proved one of our most popular designs. But we also did a change kit that year in Green (Jade) and white quarters and many people think that’s our best ever kit.

Through the 60s the chocolate on the kit was mainly confined to the shirt number on the back. In the early part of the decade there was a chocolate trim around the neck which was a v, no actual collar. Later the badge was dropped for just Sutton United in what we might call lower case at a diagonal in chocolate. A photo posted by Lucy in her post ' Sutton United women 70's style' clearly shows the shirt Mark is talking about. It also clearly highlights the fact that we haven't played in proper Amber for many, many years. I was about to point out that the amber on the centenary kit was proper amber, and then realised that WAS "many, many years" ago 😱
