Anyone lending support and investing into the club has to be a good thing! But at the end of the day he is a YouTuber and is in the business of publicity. I can't imagine he has a significant amount of cash to invest unless he also has ventures elsewhere adding to his financial worth. We shall see, something tells me this is not the next Wrexham story Someone in the business of publicity investing in the club. It probably has more in common with Wrexham than you think. I have noticed the online media team has been acting quite documentary-like recently, this of course would be great for promoting the clubs name. But I dont think we will be seeing established League One players getting in line to sign up, quite yet.

I confess to having never heard of Mr Brunson before he became randomly connected with Sutton Utd, and I have no interest in his TV shows. But I understand that he's had a successful business career, and I imagine he's been in demand to front advertising campaigns. Plenty of opportunities there to make a pile of $$$.

Strange that there still isn’t anything on the SUFC website about this.

At a meeting of the shareholders a few years back we voted in a resolution to restrict the percentage of shares anyone could hold in the club. Off the top of my head i can't remember what the percentage was but the idea was that no one person could take control of the club. I understand that still to be the case. Every shareholder is a co owner although obviously some are more a co owner than others!

Parallels with WAGMI at Crawley Town?

Parallels with WAGMI at Crawley Town? I have no details but the SUFC deal looks to be very traditional, an individual of high net wealth buys shares. WAGMI appears to be a vey different and, to me, more tenuous model.

Good news for the club. "New Owner" Has he bought into the club as outright owner or part owner? Either way, as I said , great news. Along with Steve's extension to his contract. Looks good times ahead. He said in his video he made about why he has done this, he said that he is one of four main investors and also wants too get more diverse fans to come and support the mighty U’S.⚽️⚽️⚽️

I have just seen his interview and he is to be a co owner with 3 others?? That has answered my earlier question. That is one way of looking at it but in actual fact he is a co owner with many others. The fact is that at present these 4 shareholders hold the vast majority of shares that have been issued and quite rightly having invested their money they can decide which direction the club takes. The rest of the shareholders including myself are minority shareholders but still hold voting power.

I quite agree with you. Am I right Being a very minor share holder does that still allow me to have a say about the club. That is, as and when a shareholders meeting is called.

I am really pleased and excited that we have a new co owner . He will bring investment , new ideas and I’m sure more publicity for our club . I love the fact that he brings his family to matches because that is what SUFC is about . Also , he is good looking which takes some of the pressure off my shoulders on match days !
