Another fine effort from Lyall, much refreshed in terms of content. A contender for our heaviest ever match programme?
The Yesteryear feature reminded me of some players I used to enjoy watching. We have had some great forwards down the years but when we look back it seems to me we often overlook Alan Ives. Perhaps because he only stayed one season and is best remembered for his years with Tooting. But what a player.
It shows how strong Isthmian League football was back then that a squad featuring the likes of Ives, Kidd, Dennis, Pritchard, Preston and Powell could only finish mid table.

Yes, really good content and mix of features. Useful this season is the ‘getting to know’ as we have so many new players - look forward to the rest of those across the year. Thanks for the effort put in Lyall.

I agree. Excellent programme, packed full of content.
I noticed that Lyall had modestly relegated his column to the antepenultimate page!

Agree with others - a really good read and the same price as last season.

Very good value but I'm afraid I usually only buy a couple a year; it lists an unfamiliar squad and the fixtures for the season.

Actually having looked at it there are a couple of points. On the back page I notice Ashley's name is spelled incorrectly. More importantly though on the front cover why is there an apostrophe in "We are the U's"?

Because The U’s is our nickname. With apostrophe correctly used to indicate missing letters.
We are not The Us !

There was another typo in the getting to know Tyler French article - Lewis Simper has morphed into Luke Simper.
That having been said thought this was the best programme of the modern era. Lots of information.
Will the stats page be returning i.e most yellows most reds, highest scorers etc etc - this is information that is hard to get elsewhere in one place?

It's great so many appear to enjoy our printed programme, and it was a specific question that came up in the recent supporters' evening. It's hard not to agree this is a fantastic publication for the level we are playing at.
That said sales were only just over 200, which at £3 wasn't enough to cover its costs. We are reluctant to stop printing one - and the experiment with a digital offering provided a "mixed" response, to be polite.
The single biggest thing to ensure its continuation in the current form is for more to be bought. Any encouragement to other supporters to demonstrate its value on matchday, and to convert those occasional purchasers into more frequent ones would be appreciated not just by Lyall and the other regular contributors.

No. The shop remains closed. The office, 30 seconds further down the car park, will be open for you, or anyone to purchase any of the small number remaining available.

How many were printed then if only 200 were sold?
