It seems the Ebbsfleet fans are having difficulties in buying a ticket for Saturdays game.
Below are two of many posts on their forum:
Anyone else having trouble buying tickets via the appalling Sutton website? Wants you to agree t&c, but doesn't give box to tick to agree!
Clearly, the web designer is lacking in WebEd's skills. Their website is a load of rubbish I couldnt do it at first try this link suttonunitedfc-awayfans.ktckts.com/event/sut2425h05/sufc-vs-ebbsfleet-united

Saturday sees Mr Brunson's initiative to widen access to football. I.understand Some 400 tickets have been purchased, the entire family stand and seats in the main stand. This is a worthy idea. I am sure we will give the guests a warm welcome. The hospitality is sold out. A good oportunity for the shop to sell merchandise. The supporters club to sell 50/50 tickets etc.
On X we have already been encouraged to join in after the match though an extra 400 could make the Amber and MBA lounges crowded to hear the strikers draw. I am sure the club will announce any special arrangements in good time.

There have of course been grumbles on this that regulars can’t get pre match hospitality. That seems like a fairly reasonable complaint given loyalty of those that use and pay for it on lots of match days. Perhaps provision could be made for alternative arrangements for the regulars in future? Space likely a factor but maybe something can be done.
I’m all for the initiative and bringing in new faces. It’s great to see Paul bringing in those sorts of numbers. Can only help attendances and attract more investment. Good stuff.

Does anyone know why the popular and well used pop up bars in the car park have disappeared this season? Seems to be an own goal in light of the fact we can't use the MBA lounge either.

Yes indeed, there is an excellent “fans zone” behind the Collingwood Road “home” stand now. It has various bars and food outlets. It’s a bit of a well kept secret IMO. Particularly as a number of volunteers (remember those??!!) have put a huge amount of work into it of their own volition to make it a very smart area. For me, the only issue with it there is that it kills the foot fall to the club shop. ( not the volunteers fault ofc)

Because they are now in operation in the fanzone inside the stadium. That means they are now popular and well used before the game, but crucially also at half-time and after the match - something we couldn't do previously. We plan to be opening both those bars on Saturday and continuing the "happy hour" price promotion in the fanzone should Sutton be the victors on Saturday until 6pm.

The main Reason was because the club had to find a space to house the steel structure of the long awaited community changing rooms. Other benefits: Think it also helped to reduce complaints from neighbours. The club wants supporters to use the fan zone at the Collingwood end of the ground. The general poor state of the car park surface was hazardous to the footfall that could arise, better to reduce the use than repair it. Shortfall :Reduce the footfall towards the clob shop.

OK fair enough thanks for the replies. I generally go the other end of the ground so haven't discovered the new fan zone yet.

I think the MBA lounge bar is now open because generally they have overpriced the pre-match meal and not so many going now. However with this nonentity coming with his hangers on it will probably be closed this Saturday.
Is that why it's a "sell out"? It's not as though it's a must see fixture.
