Which is the odd one out and why :- Chertsey Town F.C. -- Southern League Premier Division South. Braintree Town F.C.-- National League Tranmere Rovers F.C.-- League 2. Sutton United F.C. -- National League Tranmere as the ground doesn’t have a park along side the ground! Chertsey as they have a positive goal difference!

Sutton United because the other 3 have space to easily provide a covered fan zone.

Very close, Three out of four have a cover on their fan zone, Tranmere must be one of the best. Even lowly Chertsey provided a Marquee for us when we visited. Sadly Sutton have not yet provided a cover for their home fans zone.

Sadly Sutton have not yet provided a cover for their home fans zone. Chertsey's was installed for our match. Braintree's is new this season. Sutton had a covered fanzone for the last 2 years. Again, a much more constructive way of dealing with this is to come and talk to me - as the supporters' club representative did recently. Posting on an anonymous forum to a dozen others isn't going to be the way to get what you want (whatever that is). If you took the time to chat with supporters at the game yesterday in Braintree's fanzone you would realise I was in there taking pictures and asking questions, alongside other supporters and volunteers that are actively making improvements to our stadium and fan experience every week. Maybe the 30 seconds amusement you got from posting this might have been better spent supporting the club by volunteering on the "help needed" thread. Still no replies and 7 roles to fill. No doubt come next Monday there will be moans about the length of the queue to get in.

A rather brief piece of detective work could identify Newboy52 as a member of the sc committee; one assumes not the sc rep who spoke to the C Op Officer though.
Yep we had a covered fanzone until it was proven to be not fit for purpose in high wind conditions. It was wrecked.
In defence of the club, a number of the EFL grounds we visited had no cover in their fan zone area either including the relatively new ground at Wimbledon.
A bit harsh to suggest only 12 people on this forum. 20 at least. We are not all devotees of Instagram etc.
As for the lack of volunteers for gate duties next week, is it any wonder when a fair few who have given up their time have ceased to do so because the way certain club officers have spoken to or treated them?
It has always been difficult to find volunteers but when you have them you have to look after them to keep hold.
You reap what you sow.

Sadly Sutton have not yet provided a cover for their home fans zone. Easily solved. We could just ask the club to remove the "fan zone" all together. Then it won't matter if it's covered or not. So tell us about Braintree's home fan zone? What was that like? Or perhaps the one at Tranmere or Cherstey. Unless of course you want to compare apples with pears.

Braintree don't need a home fan zone. The bar and it's entrance is right behind the terrace behind the goal. Drinks under cover in any weather.

Sutton United because the other 3 have space to easily provide a covered fan zone. The important bit of that , is "space to easily provide". It would be great if we had a clear area like Braintree has. Lots of hurdles to overcome before ours is provided, like safety, vehicle access, etc etc. We may not ,yet, have a cover but it's still worth visiting the fan zone.

Yep, although from what I recall Braintree 's bar is a bit bigger than Amber's and as was seen on Saturday there are far less potential punters.
As I don't drink at football a fan zone is not on my list of priorities but if it was being sheltered from the elements would be. Car park duties in the rain is one thing, boozing in it is something else.
