I've known 'Bong' to be used on other forums. They both serve the same purpose, after all. Got me looking, thought there might be some sort of new offer!

A timely reminder of this as new-joiners have slowed up a bit, triggered by a quick browse on Tonbridge's forum showing that they have joined the same scheme and have summed it up quite nicely: www.tonbridgeafc.co.uk/forum/index.php/topic,7155.0.html "The club have launched a new fundraising scheme which will benefit BOTH the club and its supporters. We have been considering this scheme for the last few months.
The scheme is based on you the supporter switching your supplier of GAS AND ELECTRICITY to a new supplier called UTILITY WAREHOUSE and you should receive significant savings on your energy bills.
The scheme also offers excellent BROADBAND packages which were nominated by WHICH? Magazine as the best in the market. The company also offers Home PHONE rental only The company we are working with is Utility Warehouse www.utilitywarehouse.co.uk [ed - use link on www.suttonunited.net/switch.php or contact honsec] . The scheme will cost nothing to join, the switching over process is handled by the company ;
For each membership signed the club will receive £5.00 per application and up to 5% per month of each members utility bill.
Here is a list of the benefits you and the club could receive:
MEMBERS
Lower utility bills – GAS AND ELECTRICITY Excellent BROADBAND AND HOME PHONE packages One easy to read monthly bill for all utilities ie you pay only one bill per month by direct debit Fast and efficient UK call centre Free calls to UK landlines 24hrs per day ( with 4 services ie gas, electric – broadband equates to 2 services) 5% discount at 25 major retailers including Sainsburys , Sainsburys Petrol Boots, Halfords , B+Q and Homebase . To achieve this members need to obtain a Utility Warehouse cashback card – details on request , The discount is deducted monthly from your utility bill.
CLUB
Additional Monthly regular income towards the running costs of the club
Paul Dainty has offered to run the scheme for us and will talk potential members through the joining process and meet with them to discuss potential savings and the switching progress. Paul is qualified to sell such products on behalf of Utility Warehouse.
Finally , the scheme has its own website :www.telecomplus.org.uk/B87280 Paul will be available in the Boardroom one hour before kick off starting with the Tooting and Mitcham game on 30th January . Posters will displayed around the ground and in the bar areas and will feature in the programme.
Please join the scheme – it will help us towards the running costs of the club."Obviously, join ours, not theirs!!

It's worth it just to piss off the reps from other companies who try & stop you in the street\cold call to sall you their 'unbeatable' deal. "Utility Warehouse? Oh, we can't beat that. Bye"

The geezer stopped me in Clapham yesterday. Gave it his spiel and then nearly cried when I told him. Think he'd had a bad day! ;D

Its brilliant isn't it. Saves so much hassle as well.
Mentioned similar on here months ago.
One rep was in Sainsburys and when I started telling him about it he was really interested in signing up to it himself.
