Great news!
Have just checked the status of the travel on the TFL website. The circle and district lines are closed so it looks like the easiest way to Fenchurch St is to go to London Bridge and get the 40 bus from stop M, London Bridge Borough High Street. Bit annoying, but what can you do?

Finished 0-0. Late winner ruled out for an offside that wasn't (a photo proves it).
A point away though so no complaints. Shocking ref though.

Very disappointing that a very poor decision ruled out our late goal and perhaps ultimately cost us two points but we never really got into the game, although better after the changes. At times rode our luck a bit with some last-ditch defending and a couple of great saves from Paul Nicholls.
Gavin McAllum worked tirelessly but perhaps should have put his chance away five minutes before the disallowed one and then we wouldn't be rueing the lino's errant flag. Let's remember that we had a virtually brand new back four today and two players thrown in that only met the rest of the team this afternoon, thought Jon Munday was our MoTM, sterling performance.

Nicholls Munday Collins Erskine Heeroo Dundas (Hann) Bingham (McKimm) Hughes Palmer McAllum Dunn (West) Missing regular right back, centre back and left back! Jackson - injured Bray - ill (related to previous illness) El-Salahi - injured Add to that, Collins carrying a knock! Draw was probably fair overall but can't help but be disappointed as shown by Paul's photo

It did look tight from behind the goal but the photo shows it was miles onside, amazed at some of the other decisions today including the ones that did not come out of the Football Association rule book??
Overall a draw was about right we defended well but lacked any punch going forward, not sure why PD changed the winning format by starting with Dunn and not Westy although you had the feeling from @75mins on we were more likely to win it again finishing a match stronger then the oppos.
Can't be too disappointed a point away with the Bobbins losing keeping us just where we want to be :-)

Taking the whole 90 mins without outside influence, I would say 0-0 was a fair result. We didn't even get close to going until into the second half. Yet again, the substitutions made a big difference into the way the game went. Not sure why we didn't start with Mckimm, West and Hann, it could well have been a different result.
Nicholls again was superb in goal, he's been quite inspired since he returned from injury, and agree that Munday was solid as anything - was quite impressed with Erskine too.
As for the ref - well we had him in the first game of the season away to Harlow and he wasn't very good then, but he totally outdid himself - shocking decisions all over the place, a stupid amount of cards when not needed and then conspired to rule out a perfectly legal goal. I know its a hard job, but lets be frank - in any other paid job, if you performed badly you'd be given a warning, but in this job the player/manager is ALWAYS in the wrong, and we are told to respect refs. To our credit, there was no bad mouthing from the players, even when this idiot was breaking the rules of the game after Nicholls went down following on from an elbow. He robbed us of what would have been a lucky victory, but then again part of the game is luck - how many times has luck gone against us before.
Dos went straight to the tunnel after the game, if I'm this angry about the ref's performance, he probably ran away to stop himself getting a GBH charge!

Unfortunately, such was the game today, the only real talking point is the ref.
Three times we've had him this season & he has been shocking each time. Just because you are young & able to keep up with play, doesn't make you good enough for the level you're at.
Does anyone know why he booked PN & why he gave a free-kick? He played on for ages before reluctantly stopping play. He should have re-started with a drop ball from where play was when halted. His pedantic & inconsistent approach to where a throw-in should be taken was embarrassing for an official at this level and a couple of the yellow cards were inappropriate levels of punishment for the incidents that occurred.
He cannot be blamed for not allowing the goal as he has to go on the assistant's flag.
All in all, not the best advert for the RL today from either team & certainly not the officials.
Next time we have this fella we may as well give all admission money to him, beacause after all he's the star of the show, the football match is a secondary irrelevance.
Finally, well done to the CI volunteer groundsmen for producing a damn good pitch considering.
