...was announced as being on 1/4 at Wembley FC.
Fine, but England play Ukraine at Wembley that night. The traffic in the area will be appalling & it is most likely to be a nightmare for our players who mostly drive themselves.
I know Hendon are struggling for dates but surely this is not the best one?
I have an ulterior motive too, that being a ticket for England's game.
Shall I ask FIFA to move the England game?

Have you tried getting to Vale Farm when there is an event at Wembley Stadium yet?
Last time it wasn't bad at all. Vale Farm is a good couple of miles away from the stadium, and if you're travelling on the tube - you'll be using different stations (either North Wembley or Sudbury Town). I'd certainly advise using public transport where you can, but I don't think its as bad as you fear.
With regard to the date, remember that we are dictated to by Wembley's fixtures as well.

My point was about our players getting there. If having to drive via the Hangar Lane system, it could be bad, it is bad enough on normal evenings let alone when England are at home.

I have a similar issue insofar as i was planning to go to Wales v Germany (tickets not on public sale yet) but am also on for a perfect season. I've missed one Sutton game every year for the last five seasons and i wouldn't mind actually seeing them all for once.
Got until the 23rd Feb to make my mind up anyway.

How about we move the game back 24 hours to Tuesday 31st March Now those of you who have money to burn and have bought England tickets can go to both games

Provisional date now 31st March, subject to Wembley's cup games, with 1st April as fall-back.

So CoSec, do I sell my England ticket or take a chance? What cups are Wembley left in?

If Wembley are drawn at Home in their Cup match, we will rearrange the game for another date. The match will not take place on Wednesday 1st April

I claim an assist in a victory for common-sense. Thanks though for moving the game.
