From the Dulwich site: SUTTON SCORNED BY HAMICI 04.03.09 Dulwich striker Laurent Hamici has rejected an offer from Ryman Premier giants Sutton Untied, after the Surrey outfit put a 7 day approach in on the player last week. The former Carshalton hitman has been in sensational form this season, hitting the net 21 times this season for Craig Edwards side and has been reportedly been attracting attention from sides way above the lands of the Ryman League, with both Millwall and Essex outfit Grays Athletic amongst those linked with the forward. However, a concrete approach from Paul Doswell's side surfaced last week and Hamici was invited to a training session with the U's, during the later stages of the week. But, despite Sutton's strong play off hunt, the ex-Molesey striker rejected the opportunity to join the Amber & Chocolate ranks, stating that he wished to see out his contract at SE22. Thats code for he has signed for us IN ADDITION I HEAR WE HAVE SIGNED Billy Chattaway from them as well? Billy Chattaway Midfielder Promising 18 year-old left-sided defender or midfielder who started the 07/08 season in Hamlet's youth side. After a couple of reserve team appearances, he made his senior debut in the FA Cup replay at Deal Town and scored the clinching goal in a 3-1 victory. He went on to become a regular for Dulwich in the 07/08 campaign and prodcued some fine performances that earned him trials with Charlton Athletic and England Schoolboys. Has made over 60 first team appearances to date.

Hamici was a strong focal point of Robins' very good youth & reserve teams a couple of years back. I believe there were questions about his attitude and he had discipline issues too. However, I think he has put them behind him since getting regular first team football. He scored alot of goals for the Robins "lower" teams and I remember some of their fans asking why he ws not included in the first X1. Have we got him or not?
Dulwich looked quite decent in pre-season but I cannot honestly recall Chattaway. I remember being impressed with one of their defenders that night (I wonder if Bob B remembers?), perhaps it was him. I think Hamici featured though.

This is from my mate the Dulwich supporter (as was the other post)
there's some confusion whether hamici's staying or going. he's a good striker and has a huge backside.
chattaway is only a young chap, no more than 18 or 19. plays as a left wingback or left side of midfield. he's a little terrier.
it's a shame to have lost him. he went on loan to welling for a bit in january but it didn't work out for him.
we have blown the playoffs, barring a miracle. it will be interesting to see how many of the squad will stay past the summer.

More from the same bloke..................
I was told tonight that we got two grand altogether for Billy & Laurent going to Gander Green Lane, plus a 25% sell on clause. Which isn't bad business for a player that would have been free to go in the summer. I'm sure Laurent would have happily stayed until the end of the season, but he's had a good offer, & has helped the coffers of our Club by moving on now. Billy was always going to leave anyway, but i don't begrudge them going, at least it's an upward move. And we will see them both against against us pre-season, when we will host a game against Sutton. Not a crowd puuler I know...but it will be a decent work out against higher opposition.

Can i be the first to breathe a big sigh of relief that Gavin Heero has gone. He never found a comfortable place in our side and i'm still not sure what position he actually prefers to play in! A couple of decent midfield performances but other than that he just looked lost and under par. Wildinho as Dos says on the website was more a victim of realising that the pretty wingers style of play wasn't going to happen but in moving to Farnborugh he'll be back in the Conf South soon enough. Hamici is a name that's been flying around locally for a few years so let's hope he takes his chance well at Sutton, scores goals and improves. It could be a moment of genius from Doswell if he plays as well as his reputation implies he can. Never heard of the left midfielder but we shall see, i'll trust the management teams judgement Good luck to Heero and Wildinho and welcome Hamici and Billy!

Reading Pauls column after the Harrow game, it was obvious that he was not happy with recent results, and changes were a foot. Playing pretty football was not going to get them out of the Rymans, ( probably the same applies to the Conf South) and some of the experienced players had not delivered, and a blend of younger players plus experience would be the order of the day. So the revolution has began ( or in Eastleigh speak the revolving door). So a big welcome to the new arrivals at a crucial point in our season each game will be like a cup final, if we are to remain in a play off spot. With the arrival of Laurent Hamici, where does that leave Chucki.?

From Hampton fans on the conf south forum re: McIntosh:
Decent young combative midfielder. Hasn't really established himself despite being at the bev for the best part of four years. Missed a lot of games with injury and the odd suspension. He's big and strong and quite pacey. Would do well for us if he could stay available for more than three consecutive games.
And:
Big, combative central midfielder. Left us in May as he moved to the midlands and (as far as I know) hasn't been playing anywhere since, which was a suprise as he could have done a decent job for the likes of Worcester or Redditch.
Unless he's moved back down South the travelling could be a killer for him.
If he's match fit will be an excellent signing.
