Another great result for us on the road tonight with Hamici scoring again. We're now only two points off Tonbridge with equal games played and establishing a gap over Knobbins and Dartford. Again, anyone know who we lined up with tonight at all? Cheers

We "out-muscled" Boreham Wood in the 2nd half to secure another 3 points.......were helped by their keeper for the 1st 2 goals..........again, we had another joke as a ref, he blew his whistle consistantly and booked 8 ( 5 of them were Sutton players ).

To be honest we were toilet for the first 15 mins - all over the shop with no shape - on a par with our performance against Ramsgate in December. They got a penalty after an awful challenge by Oscar. We started to build pressure and a poor punch by the keeper led to Hamici keeping up his goal a game for Sutton rate. 2nd half we came out stronger, a beautful bit of play by Dundus nearly led to a 2nd early on, and Chukki did the same 5 mins later. Their keeper came out and said "be nice to me, i've been your best player tonight" = he wasnt wrong, dropped a ball coming in, pounced on by Chukki to end his goal drought, and to bring the keepers confidence to rock bottom (poor sod had a bad night), but there was nothing he could do about the 3rd, Gav showing his class, saving the best goal of the night till the end.
Ref was a joke again, lacking consistantcy, Borehamwood were a much better propostion than Heybridge on Saturday, and for the first time in a while, we rode our luck and took chances, and it worked. With the Bobbins throwing away a 2 goal lead, were now 3 points above them and 5 above Dartford.
Bobbins next game? Tonbridge at home!
Co-incidentally the attendances at both our and the Bobbins games were the same = 119

3 points without playing that convincingly. Still, a wins a win!
First half, we were awful. Just didn't get going at all. The pen just made the problem worse.
But, I think we need to add their 'keeper to our Xmas card list. 2 absolute howlers let Hamici level with a thumping finish and presented Chukki with a "can't miss" tap in from a yard or two. And that turned the game for us.
They weren't a bad little side. Very lively. Still, when you're properly time wasting after taking an 8th minute lead, you're not going to get much sympathy!
Oh and the ref. What an absolute clown.
