Arun Harinath should be available in a couple of weeks subject to any Surrey CCC commitments. Currently at Loughborough. Thanks,i saw him get 150 odd against Notts seconds round there ,must be 3 years ago.I thought he would have progressed a lot further by now. Arun is playing at Wimbledon on Saturday. He signed a 2 year full contract at Surrey CCC last September. I believe he would have progressed further if it wasn't for his Uni commitments.

A winning draw at Weybridge last Saturday. We have 3 consecutive home matches starting against Banstead tomorrow. We are 13 points ahead of Reigate Priory at the top of the table.

Sutton returned to the top of the table after bowling Guildford out for just 58 on Saturday (Phil Sampson 5-40 Andy "Goose" Sartor 4-15). Sutton won by 6 wickets. Reigate Priory could only secure a losing draw v Spencer so The Popinjays are 3 points ahead. Cobham Avorians away next Saturday.

Lost by 5 wkts at Cobham Avorians but hopefully only a blip. Reigate lost too so we still head the table. Home v Malden wanderers Saturday 11.30am.

Back on winning track with an 8 wicket win over Malden Wanderers. Bowled them out for 88 (they chose to bat) and knocked them off in 12.4 overs to beat the rain. 15 points clear with 5 to go. Max points for final 50 over matches is 10 per game but tough trip to improving Spencer on Saturday!

Another win ;D, this time by 63 runs at Spencer on Saturday. We made 236-9 off 50 overs and bowled them out for 173. We remain 15 points clear with four games to play. Wimbledon at home next Saturday, traditionally a tough match up (11am start) while our 2nd XI are 4 points behind Wimbledon in their division and they meet at Church Road next week. With our Surrey Trust League team making the league play offs as well, we are set up for a thrilling end to the campaign!

A 6 wicket win against Wimbledon at Cheam Road leaves Sutton CC on the brink of the title, but it wont be easy. Zoheb Sharif 78 and Arun Harinath 65 paved the way for a suprisingly comfortable win. Sutton face a young and useful Sunbury on Saturday at Cheam Road (11am start) before completing thier season with trips to Banstead and Reigate Priory. Victory on Saturday and defeat for Reigate (home to Wimbledon and the main challengers) would give the Popinjays their fourth Surrey Championship title, 1968 - 1991 - 2006 being the previous successes. Meanwhile, Sutton 2nd XI, skippered by U's supporter Gareth Lambe, won by 13 runs in a thriller at Wimbledon to reclaim top spot in the table. This is going to the wire with 4 sides still in close proximity to each other.
Congratulations to all at SUFC from down the lane on Sutton's 4-0 win over Margate on Saturday!

Sutton 1st XI are one win away from the Surrey Championship title following their 7 wicket win over Sunbury on Saturday. The visitors capitulated from 160-3 to 176 all out. Zoheb Sharif scored 89 as Sutton cruised to the 10 points. Sutton visit Banstead next Saturday (11am). The 2nd XI won at Sunbury and are in a 3 horse race for the title with Normandy and Wimbledon. Sutton entertain Normandy next Saturday at Cheam Road (Noon start). The 3rd XI are safe from relegation despite losing on Saturday.
