AFCH reports are notorious for being one-sided. I wouldn't pay too much attention!
This match was much easier than I expected. As against Margate, we won the match in the first half without reaching the heights. Despite conceding so many corners, we didn't let in a goal from any of them. We were playing pretty much our strongest eleven today, which probably explains why we did much better than on Tuesday.
Wealdstone will be an important test on Monday.

What a total pile of cack that is but the one thing I can help them with is weather data as I have a weather station here: Sutton: Highest Gust 15.2 mph at 18:48 Highest Speed (10 minute average) 8.3 mph (F3) at 18:48 Highest Gust 15.00-16.00 = 14.6mph Highest Gust 16.00-17.00 = 11.6mph I am in an exposed area so its higher here, nearest Met Office Reports Kenley at Max gust 14mph during the matc Poor old Michael Fish missed another hurricane As for the match, AFCH were physically very strong as you would expect and we don't really have a side that is built to cope with that but AJ, Cobbs and KES etc worked their socks off to compete in the air. AFCH deference was ponderous not able to adapt to players running at them or spinning them round. At 3-0 up it should of been easy but we needed to work extremely hard to stay in the midfield battle which continues to be a problem for us, we look at our best when down the channels. Dos called it spot on when he thought we maybe a little lightweight in the middle but if he can bring in the right player or 2, then we could be looking at promotion side. I don't understand the booking on Hann or Cobbs, the no2 clearly caught Hann then went down play acting, maybe the FA would like to charge for cheating? Cobbs tackle looked perfectly good to me, one footed and looked to take the ball?

I had a look at the video clips on the AFCH site, and the quality of some of the goals, esp AJ 2.0s and Stefans 2nd were really good.
Yet again today we took the game to them and won it at a canter in the first half really. I'd say Margate were overall poorer, and we probably played better today than we have all season, against a side that had only lost once in the first 4 games.
Wealdstone, as AA says, will be a test - they were a very useful side last year as we found out, and are likely to come out very physically.
As for today - the payback of Shave scoring an own goal didn't go un-noticed!
As for the Hornchurch write up, I'd probably faint if I expected an impartial write up. Amazing how one teams fans hold themselves up with dignity, whilst the following Saturday we get the usual "toys out of the pram" from the town of the clinically obese. When they get over the fact that they are probably at the level they should be, and realise how lucky they are not to start with a 10 point deduction, maybe they can make a more useful contribution to the generally pleasant supporters of the Ryman League

Only got to HT in that report and couldn't be arsed to go any further. Biggest load of utter shite I've read in a long time.

Incredible case of sour grapes.
I notice there's no mention of the fact that the "biased and one-sided" home support all unanimously applauded the excellent finish for the Hornchurch goal.

It was a stunning individual goal. Pitty most of the Hornchurch mob had buggered off to the pub at half time. Why did they not start that guy
