Joking aside, I think it should be said that Hayden Bird's professionalism in the past year has been exemplary in the face of off-the-field pressures.

Off field pressures in terms of other people at the club or in terms of his personal life? It has a fair impact on how hilarious I find all of this...

He wasn't very professional in the pub on Saturday night I thought he did very well considering what you were shoving in his face ;-)

Squad changes, a cutting of budget and Bird leaving? Think we've only seen the start of the bobbins saga. I get the feeling plenty more is to come....

What would you do if you were a CAFC fan?
Go to Horsham but boycott the home games publicly?
Do a noisy maroon coloured protest?
Or just roll up as usual in the new DeepRe-d shirts with funny badges and keep schtum?

I would never have let it happen.
As for now, wear the old colours, only go to away games, drink in the Hope (or pub of choice but you'd be mad to go elsewhere) when yer at home with one person protesting in the ground and updating the rest in the pub that way it'll take all season to ban you all.

Assuming the fans have any backbone of course.

Dickre could make light of it and organize a pint throwing contest with himself as the target. Winner receives free ground entry, the rest a free season long ban. Or on a more serious note, he could organize a meeting with the supporters and try to win them over diplomatically (yeah right ).
