8.7 miles which is a lot closer than I thought it was.
Nearest Ryman club is Leatherhead who are 1.3 miles from me by car but it's just about one mile dead if I walk.

I have to endure the long and arduous walk from just off Sutton station.

More fool you for moving back Essex way, LOL.
I can walk it in 20 mins, drive in 5, as long as GGL isn't jammed up at the Gander lights.

I know Frakey, that was "my choice", but, like you, have been supporting the U's since the late 60's, and "nothing" would make me change to supporting another team !!!!

I live in Biggin Hill, my girlfriend who comes with me lives in St Mary Cray (Orpington). We are both season ticket holders.
Neither of us have ever lived in Sutton and our nearest Ryman club is Cray Wanderers

I live in SW19. Not too far, but I do rely on public transport to get me to matches.

Used to be something like 38 miles each way from Brighton but in the Conf South that evened out by being nearer to Lewes, Bognor, Havant etc than a Sutton based fan.
1.7miles now i'm back in Sutton.

I live the other side of Carshalton in Wallington, I've been watching SUFC since 1985 when I was taken along to the lane by a friend. I went with my Dad (David Elphick) since 1986 until he passed away in December 2006 and have returned to GGL on a regular basis this year. I am saying this partly by way of introduction as it is the first time I have posted on the forum in years. Paul

About 30 miles by car for me, or an hour on the train (Farnborough or W*king to Wimbledon, Wimbledon to W.Sutton). I suppose the closest Ryman Prem side is probably Ashford (Middx), but Farnborough are about 4 miles away in the Cornetto or whatever it is now. And of course we don't talk about W*king.... *spits*

I'm now in Redhill so relatively easy drive down and within close proximity of the M25 which is useful for most away games.Nearest club is the mighty Merstham!
