I know it's been officially announced as 2 March, but with the ryman 45 day rule rubbish, and looking on BW website it is taking place the previous Thursday, 25th Feb.
Help?!?!??!?!

42 days is the rule. I've just got in from a two-day tour of the South West and haven't caught up with the threads yet but match sec will post further on this, or I will, when more is known.
"8.6 Where a match has been postponed for any reason, the two Clubs concerned must agree within 14 days of the postponement a new date (which shall be within 42 days of the original date) and in default the Board is empowered to order Clubs to play on a date it considers suitable. The League Secretary shall determine the new date. Any Club without just cause failing to fulfil an engagement to play a Competition match on the appointed date shall for each offence be liable to expulsion from the Competition and/or such other disciplinary action the Board may determine, including the deduction of up to a maximum of three points from the offending Club’s record, any expenses incurred by their opponents, and a fine. In the event of a Club being in breach of the previous paragraph of this Rule then the Board may award points to the Club not at fault as if the match had been played and the League table shall reflect the position as if the match had been played with the result awarded by the Board."

What if the game gets called off again when every attempt has been made to play the fixture inside permitting time but not been possible due to weather etc?

Is it me, or does it get earlier every year?! It's because is it's a World Cup year. We finish early so our players get enough rest for it. Oh hang on, that's the Premier League isn't it, not the Ryman Premier.

Just as I thought. I remember in the week before the Norwich FA Cup game we were forced to play away at Dorking in the SSC by the good old Surrey FA. I wonder if they will rescue us this year?

I remember that, a cold damp night at Meadowbank - we lost, and if I remembr right, Dorking was managed by a Mr J. Rains?

I maybe wrong but I thought Steve Bangs was their manager then, JR a couple of years later.

Is it me, or does it get earlier every year?! It used to be the first weekend in May every season, but was moved forwards a week to accommodate the playoffs. It feels earlier than usual because of how the weekends around then fall this year.

We lost to Dorking twice in the SSC over a short period. JR was definitely manager once. As he was for Molesey when they came from behind to snatch a late winner at GGL. You would have thoght he had won the league when the winner went in.
