When was the GAME OFF posted on either website? I left Central London at 5pm and yes, you've guessed it, was standing outside the ground at 6.20 wondering why I was the only one there.
Didn't get back to Sutton 'till 7.30 and am thoroughly fed up.

dare I say it, ok then I will. 15.50 www.twitter.com/suttonunited - you can even have the tweets sent to your mobile although you may get charged by your provider, need to ask Andy K, that's what he does. I updated twitter by text message just before 4pm - I was on the M4 somehwere between Bristol and Swindon at the time!

The fact that there was an inspection was on our website before 3pm, and the fact that the game was off was on the site, as well as on this thread, at 4 - it was also on Clubcall.

From what I know my providers (O2 and Orange) don't charge either. You do get the late night millsy tweets on there though, so as long as you don't mind getting a textmessage at stupid o clock, then its great. Mind you, im13 hours ahead of you lot now, so any time is stupid o clock!!!

The twitter texts also tell you the team line up and subs before the game so you don't have to move from your pint and when the match report, post match reaction and pics are up online as well as anything worth reading in the local papers. Couldn't live without it now!

Using the text message service is optional of course, a web enabled phone means you can check the page for free but there is more info here: help.twitter.com/entries/14225-does-twitter-charge-me-for-text-messagesI know you're following already, Stewart, you can go into your settings and choose to have our tweets sent to your mobile. It seems as though Andy K doesn't get charged for this, maybe Nick also. I sometimes update our feed via my Blackberry but I do alerts from games by sending a text to twitter, this does cost me about 10p per message, I might query that with T-Mobile as I'm supposed to have free texts!

Text messages from Twitter definitely free on O2.
Up to about a month ago, I was raving about how good this service was, but recently I've only been getting about half of the tweets - really annoying and nerve-racking when it's the full-time score that's missing. According to Twitter, this does sometimes happen when the system is overloaded, but can't really believe that SUFC manages to swamp them. Anyone have any other ideas?

Is this the longest we've ever gone between two Surrey Cup ties in the same season? It might just be me but it seems like such a long time since we played Guildford.

That just sounds like Twitter in general, having one of its moments! It shouldn't be affecting you that much though, don't think anyone else has experienced that level of problem. Have we followed you back BTW? DM me your user name if you like and I will ensure a follow back. Warning to followers - I have just enabled Twitpic so there may be some live photo reportage, coming soon, updates with pics....

Couldn't live without it now! Twitpics working now - normal twitter will include a link to the pic however most other twitter clients will include a preview (removing need to click through) in the feed.
