Thought i'd start this off to see what people think
My thoughts are as follows
Challenging for the title. Sutton will start either as favourites or close up there. Why? Well because the bulk of the team that took us to a clear 2nd place are still here, including our back four which was one of the best defences in the league statistically. Dos has obviously added Jolly and Dundas, both proven goalscorers to the front line, and the reshaping of the midfield will be key. I know some other teams supporters will view this as 'Sutton Arrogance' but so be it!
Other teams in the mix will be K's, although losing Jolley and the talismanic Duku may have an adverse effect. I also expect Toots to be up there too, a lot of good quality signings - if Beard does his job and makes them gel as a team then they are in with a shout. Others could be Wealdstone, Tonbridge and Lowestoft, and an outside bet on Croydon.
Going down - my two favourites are Aveley and Concord Rangers. Aveley will especially struggle with a new inexperienced manager in Alan Kimble working with no budget and losing 5 of their best players to Braintree. I also expect Margate, Bury Town and Harrow Borough to struggle this year.
Dont know enough about Div 1 North, but in the South, I can see it being a 3 way battle between Bognor, Godalming and Ramsgate, with Walton knocking on the door (prob with some of our players on loan!)
Thoughts?

I reckon we're in with a very good shout, but only if the team performs as it can, which we all know might not happen. I'm very weary of Tooting. They're gonna really go for it this year, I feel.

K's actually have a defence this year. 2 very good CB signings, along with 2 FB's including Dean Hamlin. If they click, they should do well.
Tonbridge should do well. Some solid signings, mostly from the division above. Wealdstone as well will be in the mix. As long as they don't get a fixture backlog like last year, they should be PO's at least.
Tooting? Really can't see it myself. Untried manager and of their signings only Haworth really has any pedigree. Plus they've lost Hamlin and Vines. mid-table at best.

2 Kent sides Dover & Dartford have topped the table for the last 2 seasons, can't be 3 can it!! I think its Surreys turn this season, my what a choice......Lets hope its Suttons turn, can't wait to get out of the Rymans.
Dark horses Lowestoft Town FC, an unknown quantity...well supported.

There's been a tradition of promoted sides having the momentum to mount a challenge - Aveley and K's both got to the play offs the season after promotion. I think only Concord will struggle out of the 4 that have gone up. Croydon and Lowestoft both have strong backings, but don't forget Folkstone - finished runners up, but only due to a 10 point deduction.

I think Billericay may have a shout. Would you want to have a bad game for Craig Edwards? ;D Kingstonian, Lowestoft, Croydon Athletic and Folkestone will all do well. Wealdstone have brought in a couple of good uns. Tonbridge? Not sure what's going on there as I though they had no money but Franny Collins? He will not be cheap. They may be there too. Sutton United should be a front runner again but I believe it will be down to our mid-field to win it and give it to our potential goal scorers. Still got pace and width which is good. That's 8 teams I have mentioned so far. Whoever wins, it will be tight but I really do hope we get off to a blistering ten game start like Dover and Dartford.

There are a few sides who could do well, K's, Tonbridge, Wealdstone, Tooting etc but its about consistency from the off. If we can get that start then Sutton will win the league if not us then I reckon Tonbridge could be there or thereabouts and K's with Traynor must be almost certs for a play off spot?

Tooting look value at 50/1, Hastings 20/1, Us 5/1 and if Bobbins are 14/1 they must be decent value for the drop?

Have I missed something ? The odds list doesn't show Grays. Have they been elected to the league, or not ? kbb
I think any of the 22 or 23 can win it.

I can't see that on Toots forum Mr K.
Has it been taken down?
