Mazhar Majeed is a good man, a nice guy and generous. I hope they do well this year but of course finish behind the mighty U's.

However I still don't see why his spare cash could not be used towards a better cause. He is probably football mad like all of us but at the end of the day (unless they find somewhere to build a super stadium to hold their 90+ supporters) Croydon Athletic is a small fish in a large pond and it could all go the way of Grays Athletic. Also they can only play 11 of their big names at the same time. Hope it goes well for them as they are localish to us. All very bizarre

Would we as fans appreciate a sugar daddy pumping cash into Sutton and reaping the benefits, or would we think that would ruin the fabric of the club and prefer us to continue in the same way?
Personally i'd prefer to progress the way we are rather than become one of those clubs.

Around November 2007 I would of forsaken pies for a sugar daddy but seeing how the club is being run now I think we're on the right path. Something has changed at SUFC in the 2 years I was gone and it was for the better, no doubt about it.
