Looking forward to seeing Jolly score some goals.I've never seen him get one before but i've only seen him play 6 times. Will he take penalties ?

"And how did they get a free kick from that handbags?"I think that we committed a foul and the ball ran free and the ref then played advantage as Staines had the ball but immediately they lost it and before the ref could blow for a Staines FK the two unsavoury incidents occurred. Griffiths obviously had to go (although the ref gave the Staines manager a few moments to sub Griffiths which was ignored or went unnoticed) and imho the other incident warranted at least a yellow if not a red too. This happened right in front of the dugouts and I saw it ALL.

BTW have we not been able to sign Dunford? Shame if so.

Having gone one up early, all Staines seemed to be interested in was winning a PSF in whichever way they could. In the first half they committed a number of fouls to stop a U's player progressing.
Griffiths was an idiot & deserves his suspension but perhaps Cordery was even the bigger fool not taking the ref's initial invitation to remove him voluntarily. That is complete arrogance.
In the second half their skipper Gordon, who is a bloody good player kicked the ball away after a free-kick was awarded to U's. I suppose old habits die hard but were they really that desperate to win a PSF?
Thought we played well first half but really need to be more decisive in front of goal. Second half was ok but overall the performance was solid and there is much optimism in this group of players.

I thought I heard he was being looked at by Woking but he didn't figure against Afc or Brentford.
