Who is the oldest living ex-Sutton United player and when did he play?

Last I knew it was probably Les Austin. He played for Sutton during WWII and then when football resumed, after.

Seems Tobi may have re-joined Harrow.

Gav McCallum scored Lincoln's second in their 2-1 win at Bradford last night.
OK he's not an ex-U, but I see that Byron Harrison scored both Stevenage's goals in their 2-2 draw home to Gillingham.

Still amazes me how Ide ended up playing at such a low level. He really was class, from what I saw similar in talent to Mackie. Now playing 6 divisions apart!

Have just been catching up on the FA Cup games at the weekend - Darius Charles scored an absolute belter for Stevenage against Reading. And last night two former Sutton strikers in opposition in the Football League - Jon Nurse scoring twice for Dagenham against Andy Scott's Brentford.

Mixed with the wrong people as well. Boozing & gambling is the main reason he was bombed out of Brentford. Shame. He's a very good player.

Andy Scott has been sacked by Brentford Yet another example of a board hitting the panic button after a short run of poor results.

Andy Scott has been sacked by Brentford Yet another example of a board hitting the panic button after a short run of poor results. That is not entirely true AA. Andy was recently interviewed, at his request, for the Sheffield united job (which Micky Adams got) and he has not endeared himself to some of the Bees fans with recent comments. Bees have picked up 1 point from 21 since beating D & R around new year and the club is in freefall. Andy has done very well at GP given The club's financial restrictions but our proposed new stadium has just received a knockback by (ex) partners, Barratts, and the board will need to re-assess the implications of this as well as the projected finances before moving on. Hope that helps.

K's having signed Nicky Greene have seen Matt Gray join Met Police. Says all about K's moving forward. To be fair though, they have no money, so i'm not sure that any of their players have a contract. Not sure why Matt has joined Met Police, because he and Craig Watkins are easily Conf South stnadard players Also seems like Mr Quarm has rocked up back at the Beveree......but obviously he will miss 3 upcoming games
