Change of manager has not brought any change of fortune for Havant as Jamie has lost his first game as manager 2-1 at Dulwich. Havant were leading 1-0 with 5 minutes to go. Havant played much of the game with 10 players - a more common event of late than Jamie or Dos would want.

Disappointing to see some Torquay supporters dismissing Ben Wyatt as not good enough. Well he was certainly good enough to play an important part for a team that won the National League, almost got into the EFL playoffs and reached a Wembley final. Good luck Ben.

Tope was recently described on the Torquay forum as useless which is just going too far but when your team are about to be relegated I guess all players are open to supporter frustration

Neither Tope or Ben Wyatt playing or on the bench for Torquay today. Two years ago, Torquay were battling with us for a place in the EFL. Looking increasingly like a return to National League South for them next season.

Just goes to show what massive strides we have made and if anyone can remember that night we lost to them 1-0 (covid restrictions if I am remember) they were probably favourites to go on and clinch promotion. Football ⚽️ someone once said it’s a funny old game..

Havant's complete collapse this season continues tonight with a 2-0 defeat at St Albans. 10 games without a win in the league, no away win since 1.1.23 and no win for Jaimie C in his first 5 games as manager since taking over from Dos. Having looked at one time like contenders for automatic promotion, they have now fallen out of the play off places - although one win could change that.

Charlie Kendall sent off 18 minutes after coming off the bench for Bromley at Maidstone. Bromley won 3 2 with an injury time winner.

I watched yesterday Hampton & Richmond v Taunton. Having just read Dave Roberts’ book Home and Away (he is better known for the Bromley Boys) I was surprised to see the Beavers had as goalkeeper Alan Julian, who was Dave’s favourite player at Bromley in the season 2015-2016, described in the book. Checking him on wiki, I just noticed he had a brief spell also for Sutton. Well, yesterday, at 40, he looked still in shape, having a couple of crucial saves at 1-1…

Keeper in the only unsuccessful Doswell season (14-15). Preceded and succeeded by two of our better keepers we had in non-league (Jason Brown and Ross Worner) he was average at best for us (and those of us who remember the FA Trophy game at Hereford, sometimes a liability) and not hugely regarded. He certainly didn't get much love when we played against him in the FA Cup. One of those players who always chased a bigger payday than any specific club loyalty.

As a U for the afternoon, on that day against Billericay, there was an air of inevitability when he scored their equaliser.

I see Aaron Pierre has played significantly more games for Dons than his time here at Sutton - I know he picked up a couple of injuries but must be more to it.

I see Aaron Pierre has played significantly more games for Dons than his time here at Sutton - I know he picked up a couple of injuries but must be more to it. He was signed as cover after Ben Goodliffe's injury. As it turned out, the Coby/Louis combination (and then Louis/Kizzi one) was either the preferred option or the only option after Pierre's injury. Certainly the AFC supporters I know don't think much of them. One even compared his pace to that of the Salford kit man yesterday. Who has a physique akin to Wayne Shaw.
