Seems he's not playing for anyone at the mo What a waste. A real shame he had "other interests" outside of football. He could have so easily been a top notch defender for years with another head.

According to the Ryman League bulletin, Paul Honey has joined Corinthian Casuals. Dominic O'Shea and John Cartledge both scored for Chipstead in the FA Cup.

This happened some time ago (May), but Gavin McCallum scored on his Canadian debut v. Venezuela in the final minute. It comes at about 1:30.

I recognised the name from his Carshalton days but wiki claims he played for us as well, either way, Jamie Pace scored for Malta in their 3-1 defeat to Israel tonight. Most obscure ex-U ever? en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jamie_Pace

If I remember rightly he played for us very briefly at the start of the 2000-01 season - I think JR signed him after he'd been one of the top Southern Youth League strikers the previous season (which makes either my memory or the birthdate on Wikipedia a bit suspect) but as with quite a few players that season he was not with us for long.

Pace signed for U's from T&M. He played in 8 games, one of which was a league fixture the rest friendlies. He had already played for Sliema Wanderers before that.

James Hawes gave Boreham Wood the lead yesterday, but they still lost 3-1 at Welling.
Francis Quarm played for Woking at St Albans and (according to the NLP) missed a sitter before his side won 1-0.
