ESPN has arranged a cup-giantkillers' day this Wednesday, with events at the Old Bank in Sutton and at The Lane, where we will host a kids' coaching session. Go to www.suttonunited.net for more details

Little bump for this - Tony Rains and Matt Hanlan should be in attendance tonight at the Old Bank, ESPN's Q&A with Ray Stubbs, The FA Cup itself etc.
If you're not going to Welling, please come along!

There are some pics from today (and some poor quality video!) linked on www.twitter.com/jennythegiraffe and www.twitter.com/suttonunited including Jenny meeting Tony Rains and also getting her hooves on the FA Cup itself. Better quality pics coming from Paul Loughlin soon but these aren't bad for now!

Will any of today's events be on TV at all?

No cameras unfortunately but there will be national press coverage, ESPN will be advising us when and where.

Thought Matt Hanlan was supposed to be around for this. I take it he was unable to attend. Easy for Rainsy, he'd just park at the front of the rank outside the station!

Matt got stuck in traffic on the M25, TR took the mickey out of him, said he was "being his usual elusive self - just like he was on the pitch that day".
Matt called me around about half seven to say he was struggling and I advised him not to worry too much as I couldn't guarantee what his involvement level was going to be - I then called him at half eight to tell him that TR was centre stage and holding court!
Whilst I'm here, it would be remiss of me not to mention how much work Tony Double-Barrel put in not only in the organisation but on the day itself; he set everything up, gave Jenny a run-out, opened Roses for teas and coffees and then packed up again, brilliant! The Chairman did an excellent job with ESPN and Ray Stubbs also, it's a great club we have here and things like this can go an awful long way.

So true, many thanks to all who work so hard for our club.

My only disappointment about this event is it wasn't really something that allowed for the fans to get involved in. Although we all knew about it there was nothing to advertise as such for people to attend, it was always going to be something that most were told how great it was after it happened

The day at GGL was just coaching for kids. The pub thing was definitely publicised on the website at least.
