totally agree with tony d's comments.we've got to get at teams at home and keep them under pressure not score then sit back and try to defend the lead.as they say the best form of defence is attack.if thier goals under pressure then they can't attack us.

I thought we played quite well and were certainly trying to play football the right way along the ground.Unlucky at the end but how we missed two very good chances in the first half is beyond me.

They don't like your comments on the ballboy abuse Filbert! Also think we were forced on to the back foot rather than relinquished the initiative. I'll agree to disagree on that one. I couldn't care less what they think. Not sure if your second comment was directed at my post. I thought I said (or meant) that TA forced us back more than we would have liked due to their change in shape. This happens , even at our level, when a manager gets his players together at h/t and tries to explain where they are going wrong. TA certainly seemed to get the ball forward much quicker in the 2nd half.

All wanting the 3 points as badly as us. Maybe my observations on last night was clouded with what I saw and heard at our away game last season when the TA stewards openly admitted to having lost control of proceedings. Vile abuse is a mild description of what I witnessed and for me was the worst I can remember at a Sutton away match at this level ie RPL. I hope to be at our away game this season and will be expecting a much better atmosphere. If they had read my observations fully they would have seen that I praised their team for learning from their first half errors. The mark of a good team and/or manager.

Good game last night, helped by the fact the grass had been cut short providing a slick surface. Well done to the groundsman for that.
Angels looked a decent side & with the four new players they've got, they ought to be.
I do hope Forbesy hasn't lost his scoring touch since arriving at GGL 'cos he really should've put that one away. However, his cushioned header to set up Jolls was pure class. And the movement of both he and his strike partner was excellent.
Have to say Angels deserved someting out of the game for a dominant 2nd half performance. Scrivs again came to the rescue and the defence did well to hold Angels to a poor penalty decision. It would be nice to get one ourselves. 15 competitive matches and not one spot kick awarded. Perhaps we need to get in the box more?
